Ladies and gentlemen, we are 12 (maybe 13) picks into our official Sports Blog Nation NFL Mock Draft. Our hub for the draft, Field Gulls, is doing a hell of job, complete with graphics for each pick and a write up from each blogger. Here is a summary of the picks so far:
- #1 Oakland - JaMarcus Russell, QB (LSU)
- #2 Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson, WR (GA Tech)
- #3 Cleveland - Joe Thomas, OL (Wisconsin)
- #4 Detroit - Gaines Adams, DE (Clemson)
- #5 Arizona - Levi Brown, OT (Penn St.)
- #6 Washington - Jamaal Anderson, DE (Arkansas)
- #7 Minnesota - Adrian Peterson, RB (Oklahoma)
- #8 Atlanta - LaRon Landry, S (LSU)
- #9 Miami - Brady Quinn, QB (Notre Dame)
- #10 Buffalo - Patrick Willis, LB (Mississippi)
- #11 San Francisco - Adam Carriker, DE (Nebraska)
- #12 Denver - Alan Branch, DT (Michigan)
Our site has the #23 pick, which should come up in the next couple of days. As the board stands now, who should we grab?

Denver
Did Denver trade up?Why do they seem to have the most active free agency AND good draft picks? I hate them. I hate the evil elf.

WR without a doubt for me
i know that some people think we could solve our wr problem later on in the draft, but i think that we need to address it in the first unless a stud (read: okoye, amobi or brown, levi) falls to us.here are my wr's to take in the first round:

I totally agree with you
Check out what I wrote today. Its basically what you're saying. Take a WR unless a DT or OT falls to us that we simply can't refuse.Chris Thorman - April 5, 2007
