Up the middle
Opponents are averaging 4.58 yards per carry. Should play right into our game plan…

Their weakness must be
their defensive tackles. Or their LB’s play their gaps like ours did until last Sunday…either way, it plays to LJ’s strength of running inside the tackles.

Pounder
Panthers have gone up against the NFLs best backs and held all of them under 100 yards. You are suggesting that since LJ is a more power back, that he is going to run right up the middle. The problem is you can’t run up the middle for an entire series. And the Panthers have enough beef on the line to stop LJ… and even if he gets past them, he will be staring at the best LBs in the NFL. Rushing will not win the game this week.

Also
These stats are skewed a bit considering we are only 4 games into the season.
If you’re interested, we can compare/contrast the Panthers teams of the past few years with similar statistics. Let me know and I’ll meet you at CSC this weekend.

Please dont
Why don’t you compare with the Panthers from 2003 to 2005. The last 2 years sucked.
But seriously, other than skill positions, the Panthers this year are very different than a year ago. They revamped almost half of the starters… and with a 3-1 start against some of the NFL’s best defenses… I think they made some good moves.

Agreed
I have been meaning to look at similar stats of recent Super Bowl teams.
If I can get some time I’ll toss something up on CSC on the 2003 Super Bowl team. The stats are easy I’m just not an HTML expert.
