In the spirit of NJChiefsFan's post, I decided to mention a few things I'm thankful for this year. And since none of you are going to read the site tomorrow, here it is this morning.
Thankful for the Chiefs
When we rag on our team to an extreme degree, sometimes I feel like a mom scolding her child for not clearing their plate.
"You know some places in the world don't even have NFL football."
As bad as this team can get, I'm still so thankful that they even exist and that we have the opportunity to cheer not just any NFL franchise but one of the franchises in the history of the NFL.
We can complain about the Chiefs until we're blue in the face but hey, at least we have something to complain about.
Thankful for the AP community
As you've probably noticed around here, I spend quite a bit of time working on Arrowhead Pride. It's been one of the very few daily constants in my life over the last two and a half years and I enjoy doing it more everyday. And without you guys around, who am I going to get to read my ramblings?
Thanks for being one of the most respectful, insightful and polite group of sports fans around the internets. I've always tried to mold this place into an online bar of sorts, where you jump on the site and see people you know and they know you. I think we've done a great job of keeping up that mentality of casual yet intelligent sports talk.
Thankful for Tyler Thigpen
The worst part about blogging about the 2007 Kansas City Chiefs was the complete lack of a storyline. Each week, we came back here and wondered how the Chiefs could play so poorly on offense. Nothing ever changed.
At least this year, because of Tyler Thigpen, the Chiefs have a narrative developing. We're actually getting better on offense, which I didn't expect to be able to say until next year. The presence of Tyler Thigpen has gone a long way towards making my Sundays watching the Chiefs entertaining again. They hadn't been entertaining in close to a year but Thigpen and the new offense made me get excited to watch this team again.
Let's hear what you're thankful for Chiefs fans. We'll be covering the big Chiefs news over the next few days but make sure you're with your family and not stuck in front of the computer. Unless you're by yourself this holiday. Then post some well-researched FanPosts!

I'm thankful for
the opportunity to exchange my thoughts and communicate Chiefs’ issues on this awesome site, with such incredible fans. Finding this site has been a really true blessing to me.
I’m thankful that the Chiefs have a long and proud history and will soon be closing the chapter on this painful rebuild, and writing many new chapters with playoffs and Super Bowl bids.
I’m thankful that the Chiefs are going to get better and be back in contention next year (or the next), no matter who is coach and GM, because they are the K.C. Chiefs.
I’m thankful to be alive, free, and an American. May God Bless America.

Good job TCF!
Hell yes, proud to be an American! Thankful for the men, and women who proudly defend our freedom, and our free speech, which lets us talk Chiefs 24-7-365! My wife, and children as well, they deal with my Chiefs obsession.

God bless them!
My wife is as big a fan as I am, so that makes it easy! Probably should be a requirement for marrige, possibly need to put it in the pre-nup!?
