of what Tyler brings. ON the backside blitz, Brodie would have tried to run away from him to the other side and gotten nailed. Huard would have ducked down and tried not to get hurt (and gotten hurt).
Tyler immediately looked to his man and made the throw. I love Bones.
the more Gailey gets involved and Tyler gets into the system, the better they look. Now the run and pass games are coming together. I was down on Gailey’s hire at the start of the season, but he’s done a bangup job this year with all the injuries and that terrible offensive line that’s suddenly only “not completely terrible.”
are actually playing really well. Doing what LBs should do. TACKLE. They’re creating space and outrunning our secondary but we’re not whiffing on tackles at least.
We may as well get a 1st rounder for him. This draft is going to be really deep. This way we can get another top talent and build for the future. Everyone over 28 should be traded or let go.
4th quarter meltdowns and 12 & 4 seasons
Tony G getting all flagged for no reason
Thirty-plus year with no Super Bowl rings
These are a few of my most-hated things…
Herm Edwards simply doesn’t know how to coach 60 minutes of football. He always says that we need to play 60 full minutes, but how many games this year and last year combined did we lose in the 4th quarter? Over half of our losses. Even if we can pull this out, this is a problem we have to deal with.
poor play calling 2nd half is what makes us lose. said it from the 7 games ago. and i’ll still say it. coaches change the mindset 2nd half. its rediculous.
Herm has a real knack for going for it when he shouldn’t and not going for it when he should. Whichever way he chooses, it’s usually going to be wrong.
Way to burn the TO before the play, too, that wouldn’t be helpful later.
That, and give him a better line, maybe another WR, and a better scheme next season.
Me, I say the QB position is his to lose next season. If a QB falls to us early, is BPA, and we can’t get a good trade-down, then we take him. Otherwise not – stretching for a QB while we have other pressing needs will be a /bad/ idea.

Dustin SLO,CA - December 21, 2008
Nice.
dragon6172 - December 21, 2008
hello
nfamous209 - December 21, 2008
We start with the ball
need some Offense, now!
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
Uh
Have you been watching? We have offense. We need some damn defense
dragon6172 - December 21, 2008
i agree
nfamous209 - December 21, 2008
We've been delivering though.
R2J_24 - December 21, 2008
Done that in the 1st half
of the last few games.
Time to prove we can move the ball in the 2nd.
a 4 point lead ain’t enough to sit on.
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
nope
and apparently 10pts and 1:15 left isnt either.
nfamous209 - December 21, 2008
Exactly what I was typing.
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
lol
nfamous209 - December 21, 2008
All those pundits who said Detroit had a chance to day
forget it
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
First!
wait…
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
"And now... it's time for the 3rd Quarter... Dun Dun Dun"- Holtis
AirSpencer - December 21, 2008
I rofl'd
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
In case you missed it..
Mitch just mentioned the 2nd coldest thing again.
AirSpencer - December 21, 2008
Why is it
I never see Herm doing anything? He’s never talking to anyone, never looking at charts, he’s just staring out at the field.
Hey, look, LJ ran hard when he had no one in front of him and blockers down field. Congratulations.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
Because Herm is a mouth breather?
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
LJ
nice catch and run.
nfamous209 - December 21, 2008
Nice catch LJ!
I think we may be seeing a whole new man in 27
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
or he asks for a trade
nothing like fluffing your numbers before a trade
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
Dunno
He’s been pass-blocking, stopped with the celebrations, now a good catch – only one of those really fluffs his numbers…
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
RB's just don't have much trade value.
Especially backs with contracts like Larry’s.
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
I'm kind of bummed
at how quiet Arrowhead is. Even with the weather and the fact that, you know, we suck, should be better than that.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
Remember, Arrowhead is also less than half full.
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
Bowe's first step
is just ridiculous. Everyone questions him, but his explosiveness in his first step is insane.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
That play was a great example
of what Tyler brings. ON the backside blitz, Brodie would have tried to run away from him to the other side and gotten nailed. Huard would have ducked down and tried not to get hurt (and gotten hurt).
Tyler immediately looked to his man and made the throw. I love Bones.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
that was a good "hot read"
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
Huard would have ducked down and tried not to got hurt (and gotten hurt)
I just pissed my pants
ashleylat - December 21, 2008
LJ having a great game
Vince D - December 21, 2008
LJ
getting good blocking.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
Well they should have been blocking like this for him every week.
Vince D - December 21, 2008
They don't play a defense that hates life in the cold every week.
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
Lj
All Day
GHOST OF DT - December 21, 2008
oops
sack time
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
I hate
3rd and 7 with a run up the middle
dragon6172 - December 21, 2008
Safe, and positions the ball better for a possible FG
Just sayin’
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
great drive
took time off the clock, got a score, used the pass and run game.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
yup
we got points, even though it was 3, 3 is better then 0 or a turn over.
nfamous209 - December 21, 2008
And marched the ball
not just a quick strike. We had problems with that in the 3rd.
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
Who is this team dressed as the KC offense?
Lanier63 - December 21, 2008
That would be...
Oh sh*t… That’s US!!
R2J_24 - December 21, 2008
I think a lot of teams are saying similar things around the league today
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
the culmination of a lot of work
the more Gailey gets involved and Tyler gets into the system, the better they look. Now the run and pass games are coming together. I was down on Gailey’s hire at the start of the season, but he’s done a bangup job this year with all the injuries and that terrible offensive line that’s suddenly only “not completely terrible.”
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
Agreed.
Now if Herm and G could figure out the defense, they’d be a decent team.
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
Bad
play call. throw the ball!
GHOST OF DT - December 21, 2008
umm nice kick off
not
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
nice
shut down the wild cat
nfamous209 - December 21, 2008
Holy shit
that shutdown on second down was Dorsey. He absolutely stuffed that against two guys.
Dorsey is playing better and better, to go along with some great stats. That was a great play. If he can just get some pressure on the QB…
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
Ah
Goddamn it.
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
two great run stops
coverage break
and then a reverse. Sigh.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
So tricky
ashleylat - December 21, 2008
We have to defend 4 downs
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
We
look like the DECEMBER CHIEFS.
GHOST OF DT - December 21, 2008
covered in tinsel and baubles?
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
I dont get the game on tv, so how is our front 7 playing?
WarChief - December 21, 2008
Better than our back four
in some sort of weird inverse manifestation of the rest of the season.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
or is it the front four playing better than the back seven?
Lanier63 - December 21, 2008
DJ and Demorrio
are actually playing really well. Doing what LBs should do. TACKLE. They’re creating space and outrunning our secondary but we’re not whiffing on tackles at least.
Ridiculous Matt - December 21, 2008
We're not? We've given up 31 points.
Not tackling very well.
Warden11 - December 21, 2008

Worth a 1st round pick.
Trade him this offseason.
CBaller13 - December 21, 2008
I'd trade him in a heartbeat for a 1st rounder.
I don’t see many teams giving up a 1st rounder for him.
Warden11 - December 21, 2008
y
y would u say such a thing.
nfamous209 - December 21, 2008
TG has 1, maybe 2 more pro bowl seasons.
We may as well get a 1st rounder for him. This draft is going to be really deep. This way we can get another top talent and build for the future. Everyone over 28 should be traded or let go.
CBaller13 - December 21, 2008

of the reason’s LJ’s not having the season people THINK he should be having. THATS where people mis-judge him.
R2J_24 - December 21, 2008
I liked it so much better
when we had an offensive line that just about guaranteed us a first down with a 4th and 1 run
dragon6172 - December 21, 2008
yearh-the end of the year toilet bowl
KCWolfff - December 21, 2008
Hermball
Herm has a real knack for going for it when he shouldn’t and not going for it when he should. Whichever way he chooses, it’s usually going to be wrong.
Way to burn the TO before the play, too, that wouldn’t be helpful later.

sir eccles - December 21, 2008
HOT DAMN!
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
Wooohoooo
Fumble
ashleylat - December 21, 2008
Rams lose
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
Ha!
I was wrong, great!
Offense of the 70s - December 21, 2008
Sure would be nice to have another time out now
Though it won’t matter much if Thigpen doesn’t start throwing with some accuracy.
Offense of the 70s - December 21, 2008
don't worry
the clock stops with each incomplete
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
Well a 3 and out won't help.
AirSpencer - December 21, 2008
or an int.
AirSpencer - December 21, 2008
Well shit
ashleylat - December 21, 2008
well, crap
see y’all next week…
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
Some bitch is yelling (cheering) her lungs off...
I wanna kill her right now.
R2J_24 - December 21, 2008
Not really kill... (please don't ban me Chris.)
R2J_24 - December 21, 2008
Thigpen doesn't deserve second halves like this
I blame the play calling and lack of adjustments
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
Herm to fins Coach
‘You guys hiring?’
ashleylat - December 21, 2008
lol
Lanier63 - December 21, 2008
Fins coach to Herm
“No, but the Patriots are.”
Joel Thorman - December 21, 2008
yeah
new waterboy needed
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
Sparano: "Hahaha!"
Herm: “Hahaha! ………No. Really. Are you guys hiring?”
R2J_24 - December 21, 2008
Well.. off to the OKC Thunder game
Maybe that team will get win number four!
(Probably not.)
See y’all next week!
AirSpencer - December 21, 2008
Haha, OKC has only a 25% chance of having more wins than KC!
webby37 - December 21, 2008
God Freaking Damnit
Rams lost by one point… we haven’t secured the #2 pick yet. Cinci won though.
Vince D - December 21, 2008
evidence that playing to lose...
is a bad idea. Other teams suck, too.
Bleedingredandgold - December 21, 2008
Thigpen
had terrible decision making near the end of that game.
IamtheGreatest - December 21, 2008
I don't think you can blame him that much
he shouldn’t have been put in the situation.
He threw for 320 yds and 2 TDs don’t forget
sir eccles - December 21, 2008
I agree
But that wasnt his fault. I blame the play calling. Because for the most part he did excellent today.
R2J_24 - December 21, 2008
growing pains
That, and give him a better line, maybe another WR, and a better scheme next season.
Me, I say the QB position is his to lose next season. If a QB falls to us early, is BPA, and we can’t get a good trade-down, then we take him. Otherwise not – stretching for a QB while we have other pressing needs will be a /bad/ idea.
