- Mr. Wendler at WPI is reviewing the Kansas City Chiefs' options for the draft. First up, Matt Ryan.
- Make sure you check out the Mock Draft Challenge at KC Chiefs Fanatic.
- Good timing by Arrowhead Addict -- Chiefs Stock: Jordy Nelson.
- WPI off season round table #3 -- "The other player I’m expecting strides from is Turk McBride. He’s got the same sort of team-first, hard-worker attitude Pollard brings. He’s been working out with Jared Allen in Arizona this offseason, and at times last year he flashed that three-technique, interior pass rush the Chiefs need."
- Peter King -- "I think what you're going to see two Saturdays from now is a team like the Ravens, Falcons or Chiefs trade up from their perch high in the second round to try to get Brohm, assuming none of the three take Ryan earlier in the first round."
- An anonymous team source on KU CB Aqib Talib -- "There is no way I’d touch (Talib). He’s gotten into a lot of trouble, and he still does not get it." Draft time smoke screen?
- An unidentified Atlanta Falcons player was subpoenaed after being named by a steroid dealer.
- SB Nation has a new Saints blogger. Drop by and wish him good luck.
- Is Terrell Owens overrated?
I'm almost over this illness so expect more output in the next couple of days. Unfortunately, today I have obligations to my other job. You know, the one that actually pays the bills. So expect me to check in at lunch time and then around 4 PM after that. Enjoy the links!
Talib
now the Star is reporting that Talib tested positive on at least 3 drug tests in his time at KU...I wonder what drugs? If it was steroids, that's one thing, but like I really care if he smoked pot...It's not like being stoned helps you play football better (unless it's Madden).PVChiefsfan - April 9, 2008
More Peter King
from 10 things I think I think:h. The right side of Kansas City's line, as of today: Center Rudy Niswonger, guard Adrian Jones, tackle Herb Taylor. Run for your life, Brodie Croyle.
Having read someone else saying this, I am now freaked out until the draft (and possibly even after is Herm pulls some Matt Ryan shenanigans)

Ignore Peter King
sometimes, he's worse than JabbaPVChiefsfan - April 9, 2008
I may be the dumb one, but
I admit I am not sure what King is saying we might do with our second pick. Can anyone Learn me what he is trying to say? I don't want to trade picks one or two for a QB unless its Brady or Manning.Lanier63 - April 9, 2008
King
is usually a tool, but is more than right about our line. They are horrible, lets not try and play them up with our imagination. The chiefs must address it in the draft, and i am sure they will.Ben S - April 9, 2008
Not playing them up in my imagination
but I'm not freaking out either...that's what I was trying to convey. We will address the line in the draft, likely on Day one (though I don't think it will be a LT, I think we'll find our 10-year RT in Round 2 and leave McIntosh at LT for now).PVChiefsfan - April 9, 2008
