Above are the current undrafted free agents on the Kansas City Chiefs roster. There may be one or two guys in the waiver wire flux but we can manage for now.
I'm only going to say two of these players make it - FB Mike Cox and K Connor Barth. Cox because he's a former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket and played under Chan Gailey. Barth, because, well, we don't have many other options at this point. We need to invest in a kicker and that investment will be mainly one of time. Barth seems to have that mental stability that Justin Medlock did not.
So, in my opinion, only two of these guys make it on to the roster. History says that number is about average when it comes to undrafted free agents.

Not Sure Of How Many We Can Keep, But
I’ll go with these guys:
Savage, Barth, Cox, McDuffie, Octavien, Cunningham, Dingle, Parker, and Leggett (maybe). The o-linemen because it’s such a desperate need position right now (McDuffie has apparently been doing very well at OTAs), and Dingle and Parker because they’re going to want to look heavily at defensive end options in the hope of finding a competent replacement for Allen (so I think they’ll load up on young guys and rotate frequently). Octavien has apparently been doing very well so far too, so I think he squeaks in and sticks. Leggett stays because CB is still a need spot and I think Herm’s got a good eye for DBs. I believe Savage was overlooked this year so I think if it comes down to a question of him or Kolby Smith, Smith will get the axe.

I don't think they will keep that many...
Maybe just McDuffie (a beast), Barth (slim pickin’s at kicker, he’s the best), Cox (for the same reasons as above) and maybe Octavien… I haven’t gone through and counted up how many roster spots they need to fill, so this may be too many, but I believe that these guys have a chance of contributing. If they have room then maybe Dingle and a couple others….

If he can keep impressing all the way through camp and stay healthy, I could see him getting a lot of playing time this year…possibly bumping past Napolean Harris. Injuries were always his big problem, though, so he’s still a longshot.
I’m pretty sure McDuffie will make it. Most of the comments I’ve seen about OTAs have been very complimentary of his work (pretty much rave reviews). I’m wondering if he might be a candidate for a starting job at guard this year. I tend to think that Dingle or Parker will make the cut if only because they’ve got a gaping hole at defensive end and since it’s unlikely that anyone will provide the same production as Allen they’ll keep enough guys to do a rotation to keep their ends fresh and as productive as possible…sort of like what the Giants did with their line this year. I could see them running Hali, McBride, Johnston, and Dingle/Parker. I don’t think that they’ll move Alfonso Boone from DT…they’ll want to get McBride playing time and he’s just too small for tackle.

Dont forget practice squad guys
Alot of these guys I think will end up on the practice squad. McDuffie, Savage, Lokey and Octavien are likely candidates for the PS.
For making the team, I think we’ll see Barth, Cox.

Savage for sure on the practice squad if he doesn’t make the cut. I agree with the others, though I’d like to see McDuffie make the team… and I think he will.
I’m a sucker for underdogs, and UDFA’s are the epitome of that… so I root for these guys all the time. Unfortunately a select few usually end up making it.

Tank has been playing a lot better during OTAs.. so has Turk. If they continue playing this good, I can see Boone being a reserve DT again. (and i’ll be really happy we didnt waste our 2nd and 3rd Rnd picks from last year)
DE – Tamba Hali, Turk McBride, Brian Johnston, ??? (Dingle?)
DT – Glenn Dorsey, Tank Tyler, TJ Jackson, Boone/Edwards (room for Lokey?)
now that i think of it… Edwards has lost some weight so I’m not sure if he can play DT the way he did last year… so maybe (if Turk starts at DE) he’ll back up one of the DE spots. maybe he could play it better?? i dont know.
