The Kansas City Chiefs have taken a first quarter lead over the Denver Broncos, 7-0. KC's Dexter McCluster scored on a 21-yard rushing touchdown, which came directly after a 16-yard run. McCluster has 60 yards on five carries already in this game.
Dwayne Bowe is the other highlight of the Chiefs offense catching five first quarter passes for 74 yards. Kyle Orton is 6-of-12 for 84 yards on the day so Bowe is clearly his favorite receiver today.
Tebow, who completed just two passes the last time these teams met, is 0-for-2 through one quarter.
The Broncos have had the ball twice and done nothing with it.

Play call wasn't the issue, there.
Broncos just outnumbered the O-Line up front. Orton should’ve audibled out of that call, though, if he’d seen that blitz coming. Apparently, he didn’t. That’s the risk you take when you spread it out and try to run it.
hmills110 - January 1, 2012
Exactly, not on the O Line or the play-calling. The Defense had the right play called and the QB didn’t adjust.
JComp11 - January 1, 2012
Haley wasn't a coach
OregonChief - January 1, 2012

Fozzyboyd - January 1, 2012
When
Our defense is playing well and Tebow is the WORST QB in the league quarters 1-3 AND Orton is your QB you play it safe on 3-16 deep in your own field. Especially with Colquitt punting

Our offense has been statistically the worst ever for the Chiefs, so running out the clock is our best option probably.
5280ChiefsFan - January 1, 2012
the one advantage is that denver cant really do much with the pass game, so we know what they are going to do for the most part
