Chiefs Director Of College Scouting Reportedly Set To Interview For Bears GM Job

The Kansas City Chiefs front office has been pretty stable for the last couple of years but they face the prospects of potentially losing one prominent member.

Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Phil Emery, Chiefs director of college scouting, is expected to interview with the Chicago Bears about their open GM job.

If you read Michael Holley's "War Room" you'd know Emery has a strong role in the Chiefs draft preparations. He was an area scout for the Bears from 1998-2004 and he was the college scouting director for the Falcons before taking the KC job.

The others interviewing for the job, according to the report: Tim Ruskell (Bears - interim), Jason Licht (Patriots), Jimmy Raye (Chargers) and Marc Ross (Giants). And whoever else undoubtedly comes up during the search.

I suppose it's a good thing when other teams want members of your staff or your players but it doesn't make it any easier replacing them. We'll see how this goes for Emery.

With the internet now a days who needs scouting.

Especially with all the experts that are on here!!!

Haha

Step 1 sell farm
Step.2 draft rg3

Step 3 profit
Step 4 selling RGIII Jersey's

Step 5 start selling season tickets.

I might buy season tickets if they draft rg3
i love all the South Park references on here
Sure A LOT...

of people wanting Scotty Boy to make a move for RGIII!

Will he listen?

May I answer my own question?

NO HE WONT!

Am I the only one not excited by this year's crop of quarterbacks?

Especially Big 12 Quarterbacks?

Nope, you're not alone.

I’m so down on Landry Jones I can’t even tell you. He needs to go back to school and immediately apply for another year of eligibility.

I kinda wish the BCS had a +1 so that ’Bama defense (their offense is pathetic) could show the Big 12 and Okie State a thing or two about big boy football.

Those were two seperate thoughts.

No, I don’t think Landry Jones plays for Oklahoma State.

And Landry Jones is not coming out for the draft.
I heard that Ups wants that job!
ups would make sure we are maxed out on the salary cap

clark would have to let him go for that reason

It wasn't like they drafted lights out anyway
...and waaay too many teams took that book as a Bible
