We're down to the final four teams on the 2012 NFL playoffs schedule -- New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers.
And Vegas has tabbed the Patriots as the favorite.
Bovada has the Patriots as the favorite at 6/5 odds followed by the 49ers and Giants, who are both at 3/1 odds. The Ravens come in last at 6/1 odds.
The most likely Super Bowl matchup is the 49ers vs. Patriots which is at 6/5 odds. A Giants vs. Patriots rematch has 9/5 odds while a 49ers vs. Ravens rematch has 9/2 odds. The Giants vs. Ravens is the most unlikely Super Bowl matchup at 13/2 odds.
And that's probably enough Super Bowl and playoff talk for the day. This is getting me a little depressed the Chiefs are sitting at home.

im calling the Giants
there on fire right now

I think the Giants beat the Niners, but I think Brady will enact a revenge of biblical proportions on NY for the last SB matchup they had
Sudden - January 16, 2012
Of course the Patriots are the odds on favorites...
Vegas
needswants to get just about 50-50 money on each side so they can pocket the vig with negligible risk, and the masses look at Tom Terrific and figure the Pats are a lock. The Ravens go in next week and kick his ass, and those things change in a hurry.neiowakcfan - January 16, 2012
I agree...
I think the Ravens win… The Patriots have lost against all the teams that have a top defense. Ravens have done well against poor passing defenses. I think this one will be 24-17.
I’m pulling for the 49ers, but the Giants are red hot at the right time. The last time they met 49ers won… this one will about getting even.

Weird.
Giants and 49ers have the same odds to make the Super Bowl, but different odds to face the Patriots.
Tarkus - January 16, 2012
Patriots won't be the favorites after this weekend.
They still haven’t beaten a team with a winning record this year.
GenericBrand - January 16, 2012
Were in every single game this year
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
It's funny to hear someone complaining about the Pats by saying they didn't beat a team with a winning record all year
considering they went 13-3.
Sudden - January 16, 2012
Yeah I know
Their biggest loss was what, 4-7?
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Two safeties?
Tarkus - January 16, 2012
Lost 24-20 to NYG
Biggest loss was 25-17 to Pit
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Pretty impressive.
Tarkus - January 16, 2012
Broncos were 9-7 against other teams.
And I’m pretty sure if the Patriots beat the Ravens, they’ll still be favored.
Tarkus - January 16, 2012
I'm suggesting I don't think they beat the Ravens.
GenericBrand - January 16, 2012
Cool.
I think they will, but their defense will probably keep the Ravens in it.
Tarkus - January 16, 2012
It's worth noting that the Ravens lost to three teams with a losing record, all of which had losing records at the time they played.
The Pats lost to one team that finished with a losing record, but that same team was undefeated at the time they played (Buffalo in week 3). And also worth noting is that NE is 8-1 at home this season, while BALT is 4-4 on the road, including losses to Jacksonville, Seattle, Tennessee, and SD.

Touche
Tarkus - January 16, 2012
I think NFC wins the Super Bowl
be the Giants or 49ers.
However if the Pats go on an win, being the only team with a subpar defense, does that mean Pioli will force himself to look at getting an elite QB?
Spiderwomn69 - January 16, 2012
15th isn't subpar, it's average... hell, its the very definition of par.
Sudden - January 16, 2012
Wheres this elite QB everyone keeps wanting to get this year?
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Apparently, everyone thinks RGIII is the greatest thing since sliced bread
I for one would be quite happy if we stockpiled some picks for next year so we can maneuver for Barkley. I have a couple of questions about him and his willingness to take hits that I hope we see this year with Khalil leaving.
Sudden - January 16, 2012
Kyle Orton?
Tarkus - January 16, 2012
I'm down for Orton
Not calling him elite at all but you already know how I feel about this offense next year. Just get tired of hearing “we need a franchise qb”. No shit? Great, where is he this year? THERE IS NONE. And for people think Peytons going anywhere need to get off smokin that shit, it ain’t happening
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Hint
It’s not matt Cassel or Kyle Orton.
Which would mean the organization would have to be willing to go
another direction!
Spiderwomn69 - January 16, 2012
Ricky Stanzi!
Tarkus - January 16, 2012
Still doesn't answer the question
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
You can't find one if you are not looking
I am not an NFL scout so I can’t tell you who will be the next elite QB/franchise guy. If I could I’d be making a lot more money than what I make now.
I personally think RGIII will be good at an NFL level but WTF do I know. The point is the guys who do know need to be looking.
Spiderwomn69 - January 16, 2012
I'll tell you right there, THERE ISNT
And the Dolphins, Skins(who I see getting RG3) and even the Browns have better picks to offer whoever to move up and get RG3. It’s fun to say “yeah we should get RG3”, but it’s impossible to do it when 3-4 teams who draft ahead of you are thinking the exact same thing.
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Patriots are gonna blow out the Ravens
The out-shoot the Giants or just blow out the 49ers
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Giants and Pats all the way...
If I had to bet which one would win the Super Bowl, my money’s on New York
JQuest - January 16, 2012 via Android app
I'm not even saying team's names anymore
I really hope
the PatriotsBrian Waters wins the Super Bowl this year.JaySoy - January 16, 2012
49ers vs Giants will be a good game to watch
Both of those teams looked well-rounded and well-coached this weekend. From what I saw, the 49ers look like they’ll have the advantage and should come away with a win. It will come down to the offensive vs defensive lines. I think San Fran will hold their own against the front four of NY, and can’t see Eli getting nearly as much time as he did yesterday.
Chiefs4Life - January 16, 2012
Baltimore will find success running the ball
And they have a D good enough to contain (not stop) the Pats. I would put money on the Ravens straight up if I was a betting man.
On the other side, I like SF to utilize the home momentum like they did last week and stop the Giants roll. I dunno what the spread is but I see the niners by a posession the whole way with maybe a garbage score or two to win by 10-17.
shaffe - January 16, 2012
Best Playoffs in several years.
Now that the Giants have gotten hot, the best 4 teams are playing for the right to go the Super Bowl.
I think any of the 4 could make it but will be rooting for the 49ers and Ravens. I love Tom Brady but don’t think NE has the defense worthy of a championship this year. I think the NFC winner to win it all. And that could be the 7-7 Giants that are now 11-7.
