Doesn’t mean he is one yet, he’s got everything you’d want out of a top 5 WR, just needs to clear up the drops that really haven’t been to much of a problem
He’s way more of a physical freak then Baldwin and believe it or not even better ball skills. He needs to work some on route running and like I said motivation can be a factor, but give him a real QB and look out.
I thought he would probably do the Colts a favor by moving back the deadline for his 28 million bonus, but that doesn’t happen with Polian getting the axe. He doesn’t move it, and the Colts will have to release him (unless someone trades, which no one will when he can’t pass a physical).
I always hated that with Hawaii in the Brennan years.
They all got to wear shaded visors. HUGE advantage for the O if the D can’t see the QB’s and RBs’ eyes. So Colt set all kinds of Div I records, and has crapped out in the NFL – how surprising.
jeez, I think it was Carolina, but I could be completely wrong. all I know is my 6 year old son said " gross" when he saw the dudes foot facing the wrong way
and who’s looking up porn on my phone? just use my computer. its much faster!
that’s so messed up, I’m sick even thinking about it. usually it has to be an eye or over thing to really mess with me, but I can hear the man screaming already. frightening
I had surgery that night, Titanium rod put in my leg, two plates, four screws. It was a bad deal. Didnt scream though, too much adrenaline from playing I guess. Tried to get up and walk off the field, but when I went to plan my leg, it wasnt there. I havnt seen the McCaffrey injury, so I couldnt tell you. It was almost like the Packers O-lineman that got rolled up on against us, only I was rushing the passer, and the lineman fell on my leg.
One reason I’m glad we have a GM from the Patriots “next man up” school of thought. The Polians deserved to get canned. Tom Brady went down for the Patriots and that team didn’t become the laughingstock of the league.
I’m only sorry Peyton didn’t sit out a season years ago to expose them and get a GM who could put better talent around him. Seriously how do you not win more championships with Peyton Manning?
and I think most should realize that employees don’t want to hang with us. if he’s a Dick, he will hold it against you. if he’s human, he will be grateful you didn’t come:)
Same egomaniac GM, even had our HC in Schottenheimer. Dominated the regular season and did nothing in the post-season. Now their talent is slowly decaying as they shuffle around their coaching staff looking for answers.
Cincinatti +3 (I can’t believe they are given points)
Detroit +10.5 (too many points, easy backdoor cover)
Giants – 3 (Don’t trust Atlanta on the big stage)
Pittsburgh -8 (I’d take this if it was -28)
it was a lot of random luck that can't continue as well
onside kicks, barber going out of bounds, 59 yard field goals, vikings interceptions at their own 25. all the breaks went their way for six weeks. but, when you play on the edge like that, you’re bound to face the other edge of the sword.
just can’t remember one where a player that good was used just to move up in the draft and not acquire extra picks. just seems like #11 and bowe would be more than enough to move up to #2. i’m not sure i’d want to do that move.
Before making a decision on him. But if we traded him for a QB who actually ended up being a franchise player there’s little doubt it would be a good deal.
Aside from Harrison and Wayne, Peyton’s WR’s were never really anything special. Brady sure didn’t have all-stars during their Super Bowl years. Rodgers and Brees likely make their receivers look better than they are.
and Cassel, and somebody else, for Luck. Draft one of his tight ends in later rounds. Any of the three would be OK. Luck will win somebody a Super Bowl.
You can go to the Chiefs, or you can go to the Jets. Your call. Have you ever been to Gates or Bryants? We can get you a lifetime membership to LC’s? Oh, consolation prize….you can go back to Tennessee for a couple of years and sing Rocky Top again.
You can take a 3 year winner who is an architecture major with a high GPA who has only lost to Oregon the past two years who graduated early from Stanford……or you can take a phenom from Baylor. I know which way I would go.
He pulled it all the way back to spike it down. Just throw it straight down like the good QBs do in the NFL. If they claim its a fumble, they’ll go to the tape and see it wasn’t.
he got a lot of wins despite giving up 4 runs in 5+ innings. chen is a fine 5th starter, just don’t see why the royals didn’t sign someone else like him and gain a draft pick.
a #3 starter at 11-12M a year isn’t where the royals need to invest. unless the payroll is going into the 95M range in the near future, jackson on the payroll would cause headaches down the road.
traded him to san francisco for jonathan sanchez. lefty pitcher with one year of team control left. strikes a lot of guys out, walks a lot of guys, doesn’t go deep into games. will tax the bullpen, but he’s an upgrade on the innings davies, o’sullivan, mazzaro gave the team in 2011.
if he just throws his slider more like he did in the second half, he could be a huge improvement for the team. need him to step it up consistently once and for all.
kansas amateur baseball leaves a lot to be desired. he did well in elite circuits though. he has a huge mechanical problem in his swing right now. probably see a lot of strikeouts with him this season. if he puts it all together though, he could be huge.
but every time I have seen him, he’s looked very good but not like Superman. I think a lot of the hype came because he looked so good for a sophomore, but I haven’t seen a lot of progression from last year to this year.
maybe since Luck was already considered the top QB prospect already and had no competition, he had no pressure. Heck, who knows. Just don’t see how a guy handing it off for losses is a great NFL QB.
for 344 is handing it off? Yes, I put pressure cuz that was the topic…by putting in Leaf, you discounted it…..So there is more pressure being a guy under the radar and not talked about then a guy that was the #1 prospect all season?
depends on a lot of things. Position for one. But if you just go “best athlete” it’s hard to make a case for Luck over RGIII. If “QB” is the only consideration… well, you get my point.
The number one pick in the draft can’t throw the ball with the game on the line and get it in the end zone in college when every good receiver gets open? WHEEE! Let’s trade KC’s future for that. Cassel can do that.
OK Colts, you can have our 1st this year and next, and Cassel, and Baldwin to replace Reggie Wayne. And if you want to play the 4-3, you can have Dorsey to go along with Freeney. Payton is going to be OK, and you can use our pick to get Keenum or somebody who you can sign much cheaper than Luck. Really. Think about it.
I know this is a stretch but would anybody be willing to hire herm as a DC?
Would be interesting
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
i would take herm as a secondary coach thats where he belongs but
I think clark still paying him to sit at talk at espn
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
I'd hire him as a DB scout
I don’t like him in any coaching position but DB coach might be worth a try if Thomas wasn’t so good at it.
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
wait wait wait, I'm confused. If luck is considered one of the best throwing QB
then why doesn’t he throw it? say for 50+ yards?
hell even cassel can handle the ball off
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
finally
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
You mean like
Joe Montana did? Do you realize, Luck is doing this with really no skilled players with any speed?
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
Blackmon= Most overrated player going into the draft.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
Michael Crabtree 2.0
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
Are you saying that because of his position or his ability?
As in is WR overhyped in general or do you not think he’s very good?
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
1st round WR in general are overhyped and he's an overhyped WR
Double Whammy.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
wasn't julio jones drafted in the 1st around?
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
In the first round way too high and at way too high a price.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
too high a price=yes
is he over hyped? not in my opinion. He’s pretty good
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Don't know about all that
Hes got future top 5 WR written all over him
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
I would hold off the top 5 WR thing until he's actually a #1 on his team going up against top defensive competition.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
I said he's got it written all over him
Doesn’t mean he is one yet, he’s got everything you’d want out of a top 5 WR, just needs to clear up the drops that really haven’t been to much of a problem
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
sounds like bowe..maybe he'll need a port-a-potty
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Much more athletic then bowe, faster too and I think he might be a little bigger
Better hops and body control too
Hands are an issue but not that bad of one, got better throughout the year.
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
He's got some kind of disease in his leg
It’s affecting his game
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
What?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
They were talking about it before the game
Gundy says he isn’t in to much pain and can play through it
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Staph infection or something?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Just curious because forty time is about the only knock on him.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Nah it had a weird name
IF it was staph he wouldn’t be Playing I don’t think
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Sorry but I have to go with Luck
as the most overhyped overrated player in this or any draft
badassz1987 - January 2, 2012
I can't speak to overrated as I don't follow college football as closely as some
But most overhyped in any draft? Seems about the same level of hype Reggie Bush was getting from what I remember.
bh13 - January 2, 2012
Some called him the best college player ever.
Just before they started calling Tebow the best college player ever.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
When I think over hyped college player
GanjaChief - January 2, 2012
bo jackson took care of that
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Wha?
Bo was great till his injury.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Bo was a special player
Ask anyone that ever played Tecmo Bowl.
bh13 - January 2, 2012
bo jackson drove bosworth into the endzone on monday night football when bo played the raiders
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Ah. My misunderstanding. Thought you were saying Bo was over rated.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
yep, Bo pancaked him at the goal line
and walked in for the TD
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Hi, ne.
I hear Stanzi’s still on the bench :)
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
And this:
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Gotta love the steroid era
Anywho, didn’t Mandarich come back and have a respectable career with the Colts?
Nick Britt - January 2, 2012
Yeah, that's what I heard.
Never lived up to his steroid-fuled promise, though. Too bad, he probably would’ve been a lot better player if he’d never touched the stuff.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
I remember when people were calling Houston stupid
For taking Mario Williams over Bush.
bh13 - January 2, 2012
Yep.
They were ripped to shreds.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
And now they're stupid for putting him in a 3-4.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Nope he did good there till he got injured
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Speaking to the perception, not he reality.
But in reality, he is MUCH more valuable in a 4-3.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
He's valuable in either system
Would rather have him in the 43, but looked like a Hali success story in the 34
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Field goal
attempt by Stanford was good. What were the officials looking at?
HowSweetItIs - January 2, 2012
the cowboys coach was calling a timeout
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
would you take michael floyd or blackmon in the draft
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
alshon jeffrey
then jordan white
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
were does jeffrey play at I haven't seen much of him
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
You mustve not turned on sports center today then
He hasn’t done much this year because south carolinas QB situation is very Palkoesque this year.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
i worry about jeffrey a bit
i like him the most of the WRs, but separation could be dicey for him at the next level.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
He seemed fine against Dennard today.
Motivation is the key with Alshon. It’ll take the right coach and he will be permanent beastmode.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
he should be pumped to play with a NFL QB next year
unless he ends up in Jacksonville
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
From a nontrained eye, Jeffery kinda reminds me of Jon Baldwin
big, tall, character issues, iffy seperation.
super8 - January 2, 2012
Character issues?
He’s way more of a physical freak then Baldwin and believe it or not even better ball skills. He needs to work some on route running and like I said motivation can be a factor, but give him a real QB and look out.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
Dennard mugged him till they got thrown out.
Jeffrey won’t have to deal with those 15-yard chucks in the NFL.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Also NFL quality QBs dont need huge amounts of seperation.
Not like Connor Shaw who will only throw it if you’re completely wideopen.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
then thats good will be okay with cassel
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Tim Tebow.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Thank God.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
yeah i remember the south carolina dude, haven't seen the nebraska south carolina highlights
how big and how fast is he
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
6'5 233
He’ll probably run a 4.5 at the combine. He blew by a top prospect CB today on a stop and go but he doesn’t have great longer distance speed.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
Jeffery or Floyd
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
how the hell is weeden playing at 28?
chiefnation - January 2, 2012 via mobile
5 years of minor league baseball
rich04 - January 2, 2012
basball flunky in the minors went back to school
I think we can come back next season too
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
You know, we should use the oregon's version of play calling
40 seconds, put up signs, hike at the 30 mark
instead of the call coming at 5 secs left
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
that was haley veto power screwing the offense getting the plays in
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
but then the 3 & outs only take
about forty seconds off the clock
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Andrew Luck has only completed passes to wide open guys and easy passes so far
he hasn’t impressed me yet.
super8 - January 2, 2012
how dare you. Luck is our god. We need to draft him.
hell he’ll beat brady and manning with 1 arm behind his back
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Intercepted. Still not convinced.
super8 - January 2, 2012
I thought that's what QBs are supposed to do?

did you guys see that INT? even his int is pro
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Combination of bad thro good read
Mas Cervezas - January 2, 2012 via mobile
so he's a cassel version of orton?
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Cassel is a bad throw no read kind of INT guy, Orton is a WTF? Int guy.
saskwatch - January 2, 2012
bad throw=cassel, good read=orton
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Cassel has no read...

RG111 atleast the guy can move like a cam newton and can throw
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012

Mas Cervezas - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Manning will be released before March 31.
I thought he would probably do the Colts a favor by moving back the deadline for his 28 million bonus, but that doesn’t happen with Polian getting the axe. He doesn’t move it, and the Colts will have to release him (unless someone trades, which no one will when he can’t pass a physical).
saskwatch - January 2, 2012
No one can trade for him
The league year doesn’t big until after the bonus is due. That’s what all the noise around him agreeing to move back the date is about.
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
right, he will definitley be released then.
No way he moves it back now.
saskwatch - January 2, 2012
That's what I'm hoping to

But it would be beneficial for the QB, oh look shiny
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
I wonder if there could be an issue with glare? Looks like a mirror on their head.
saskwatch - January 2, 2012
They were speculating some controversy about em
A
Mas Cervezas - January 2, 2012 via mobile
the Defense would have issues because the glare would blind their eyes
the QB could easily locate their WR
so benefit: oregon. disadvantage: everybody else
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
I think that is why they won't last.
Next thing you know they will be changing there uni colours to invisible.
saskwatch - January 2, 2012
can the chiefs be the first to do it?
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
So the Ducks won't look at each other?
Or are they immune to their own glare?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
why would the ducks look at each other?
btw the QB has sunglasses on.
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012

Older than Aaron Rodgers
So pretty old

oregon and wisconsin= top offensive team
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Not really, I'd like to see OK State make a statement...
Not because I like them but because it might have been nice to see them play LSU instead of Alabama. I already saw that game this year, LSU won.

just the game tape. It was both bones in my lower leg, about midway up, broke in half. My foot was almost touching my knee
jakeakabigdub - January 2, 2012
Ed McCaffrey?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
are you able to still walk?
that’s so messed up, I’m sick even thinking about it. usually it has to be an eye or over thing to really mess with me, but I can hear the man screaming already. frightening
The Gentry - January 2, 2012 via Android app
Yes, I can walk lol
I had surgery that night, Titanium rod put in my leg, two plates, four screws. It was a bad deal. Didnt scream though, too much adrenaline from playing I guess. Tried to get up and walk off the field, but when I went to plan my leg, it wasnt there. I havnt seen the McCaffrey injury, so I couldnt tell you. It was almost like the Packers O-lineman that got rolled up on against us, only I was rushing the passer, and the lineman fell on my leg.
jakeakabigdub - January 2, 2012
One of these days, they'll figure out how to make rigid leg guards for linemen.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Hell, I was a linebacker
and I wouldnt wear something like that anyway lol. Not to date myself or anything, but that was only 3 years ago too. So its not bad now at all.
jakeakabigdub - January 2, 2012
you r a man just for enduring that
I would have been a big puss, I guarantee
The Gentry - January 2, 2012 via Android app
blackmom is so overrated. Look at how he got that TD
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Racist.

Blackmon
He doesn’t look overrated to me?!
albuquerquechiefsfan - January 2, 2012 via mobile
AP has determined that he's overrated and overrated he shall be
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
He can't read a defense, gets happy feet, drops easy balls, get blown off the line of scrimmage and misses tackles.
saskwatch - January 2, 2012
Everyone has a flaw or two.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Is that a question?
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Crabtree with more character and humility.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Blackmon is so overhyped and overrated
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Yep
He won’t amount to anything more then Crabtree.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
Lolz
Whatever you say man, with his hands, body control and YAC ability hell find a place in the NFL
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Everything you just said doesn't sound eerily familliar to Crabtree coming out?
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
Not the body control
That’s what separates the men from the boys
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Blackmon = awesome.
Crabtree = assclown.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Pretty much
Crabtree needs an attitude adjustment, Blackmon seems to be more of a leader on the field.

Its quite embarrassing! And one of these guys sounds like Maddens little brother
Mas Cervezas - January 2, 2012 via mobile
I think ESPN wants me to get gay for luck
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Sounding like Madden's little brother

Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Handling balls?
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
yes. to some people, football is a very homosexual game
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Yeah it's not like he got the ball down there by passing it or anything
Nope. not at all
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
nope. Like how cassel can't throw the ball. It's all the receiver
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Sure.....
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
yep. It was all the receiver. the QB is shit
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Weeden threw a great pass with pressure right in his face.
Gotta love that scramble completion too.

polian doing terribly in the 1st round of the draft finally caught up to him
dude was something in round 1
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
Gotta credit him for following a specific strategy for building his team.
All pass defense, all timing-pass offense.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
he'd get more credit if he hit in round 1 since 2003
imagine if that team had gotten some talent in round 1 since then
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
This
The whole team including the defense was built around Manning. His only mistake was not having a contingency plan for Manning.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
I think that was deliberate.
He already built well-rounded teams before. I think he was experimenting to see if/how well this would work.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Experimenting by showing his son what's up I guess
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Yeah, there is that.
I forgot about his kid. One would think that if he was trying to bring his son along, he’d build something stable. Oh well.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Building around one player is a horrible idea
One reason I’m glad we have a GM from the Patriots “next man up” school of thought. The Polians deserved to get canned. Tom Brady went down for the Patriots and that team didn’t become the laughingstock of the league.
I’m only sorry Peyton didn’t sit out a season years ago to expose them and get a GM who could put better talent around him. Seriously how do you not win more championships with Peyton Manning?
Wait and See - January 2, 2012

niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012

Cincinatti +3 (I can’t believe they are given points)
Detroit +10.5 (too many points, easy backdoor cover)
Giants – 3 (Don’t trust Atlanta on the big stage)
Pittsburgh -8 (I’d take this if it was -28)
craig in calgary - January 2, 2012
No Mendenhall, no Clark, hobbled Ben, iffy offense much of the season.
But I really hope we find out who wins in a Tebow-Harrison collision.

I don't trust the Bungles.

Tarkus - January 2, 2012

I think I might have to step away from anything that covers football for a while. The hype was getting unbearable.
bh13 - January 2, 2012
a lot of writers took a severe credibility hit this season in their coverage of the broncos
they made an 8-8 team THE story of the season.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
The story should have been how that defense let Orton down.
It was like they said “Oh crap, we got our QB fired. Guess we oughta stop screwing around.”
But really, I think it was Von Miller catching on to the NFL game.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
it was a lot of random luck that can't continue as well
onside kicks, barber going out of bounds, 59 yard field goals, vikings interceptions at their own 25. all the breaks went their way for six weeks. but, when you play on the edge like that, you’re bound to face the other edge of the sword.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
Twitter and blogs took their credibility away a long time ago.
Now it’s all about living in the moment, rather than accuracy and integrity.

Chiefshero - January 2, 2012

Mas Cervezas - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Wrong. We CAN. But we probably won't.
If we keep Cassel/Orton/other vet so the rookie can sit, I’d prefer RG3. If he needs to start right away, then Luck.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
dominique davis now!
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
Peyton Manning.
GenericBrand - January 2, 2012
Luck is out of the question, especially with the new admin in Indi who aren't tied to Manning
RGIII is very possble from 11, because St Louis needs alot of parts and already have their QB.
I’d do whatever it takes.
craig in calgary - January 2, 2012
Agreed
Period.
Mas Cervezas - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Trade Bowe and Dorsey? Rams need those guys.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
I don't want to trade Bowe, unless it's for a franchise QB.
Then, “see ya later Dwayne”.
Dorsey, I won’t lose any sleep over.
craig in calgary - January 2, 2012
how about this
trade them #11, the 2nd rounder and baldwin
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
I think for us to move up, we'd have to offer something other teams can't.
We’d get outbid in draft picks and/or unproven players. So we’d have to offer proven vets that St. Louis can use.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
just seems like bowe is a heck of a lot to give up
i can’t recall a draft day trade that included a player that good.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
I can't either, not for a long time.
But it doesn’t need to be a draft day trade. Could be done any time after Bowe’s signed/franchised.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
true, there have been plenty of those
just can’t remember one where a player that good was used just to move up in the draft and not acquire extra picks. just seems like #11 and bowe would be more than enough to move up to #2. i’m not sure i’d want to do that move.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
can we trade cash for picks
we got plenty of cash, lets see if the colts will put the pick on ebay
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Now that would be revolutionary.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
I was thinking we could re-sign Breaston, get Lloyd and survive losing Bowe. Until the second half Sunday.
Now, not so sure.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
It'd be really nice to see Bowe with a good QB
Before making a decision on him. But if we traded him for a QB who actually ended up being a franchise player there’s little doubt it would be a good deal.
Wait and See - January 2, 2012

niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012

Aside from Harrison and Wayne, Peyton’s WR’s were never really anything special. Brady sure didn’t have all-stars during their Super Bowl years. Rodgers and Brees likely make their receivers look better than they are.

niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
THAT is a mystery. I hope the sequel to War Room has that story.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
it will be weird to see manning get released by the colts, if they decide not to pay him the 28 mill
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Sign of the times. Remember when teams used to be able to "sell" players for cash?
Neither do I, but I’ve seen ESPN specials that mention it.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
I've got a buck sixty five
for Tyler Palko. I think he could clean my hot tub.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
can someone tell me what palko contract is this year.
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Non-existant?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
I think there a legit shot he comes to kc
montana all over again possibly without the trade.
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
If he's an FA, there's got to be a good chance.
If we have to trade for him, I’m not so sure; I’m sure someone looser with their draft picks (Jets?) would pay the right price.
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
OK Payton
You can go to the Chiefs, or you can go to the Jets. Your call. Have you ever been to Gates or Bryants? We can get you a lifetime membership to LC’s? Oh, consolation prize….you can go back to Tennessee for a couple of years and sing Rocky Top again.
HowSweetItIs - January 2, 2012
Those are the same guys still wishing we had Curry
HowSweetItIs - January 2, 2012
"Well yeah, he may suck now."
“But he would have been great as a Chief!”
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
i think RG111 is the best way to go
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Is there really 110
men in his family before him, with the same name?
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Depends on how you trace his "Roots."
Too soon?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Not for a miniseries.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Let's see
You can take a 3 year winner who is an architecture major with a high GPA who has only lost to Oregon the past two years who graduated early from Stanford……or you can take a phenom from Baylor. I know which way I would go.
HowSweetItIs - January 2, 2012
The phenom graduated early from Baylor with a poli sci major.
Baylor, by the way, is a pretty well regarded private school that specializes in the manufacture of politicians.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
and had some guy named mike singletary play there
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
overrated
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
As a head coach.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
nah, as a player
otis wilson made him
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
mike singletary as a player not overrated as a coach maybe
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Good point
Baylor currently rated #5…..in Texas. Ahead of Texas Tech, TCU, El Paso, Kingsville and other notables.
Stanford currently rated #5….in the country.
HowSweetItIs - January 2, 2012
So the school's rank says how good their QB is?
Careful, that’s a trap…..
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Noooooo
….but it might say something about some of their attributes.
HowSweetItIs - January 2, 2012
So Luck succeeds on a good team, and RG3 succeeds on a not so good team.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Just draft someone from the Ivy League then.
/Ryan Fitzpatrick
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
sign jay fiedler
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
If I'm selling the farm for anyone
It’s Luck. Not that the Colts are going to be listening.
bh13 - January 2, 2012
this guy has no pocket awareness!
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
Luck fails the eyesinthebackofthehead test.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Too much eye black?
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
That guy that just sacked Andrew Luck
Used to kick my ass every day in practice. Blatnick is a monster.
T-train61 - January 2, 2012
Blackmon is so overrated.
#jumpstart
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
All he does is support child cancer patients.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
You look up overrated in the dictionary
You find a picture of Justin Blackmon
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
What about a pictionary?
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Swimsuit model without make-up.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Tarkus, this game getting a little less anti-climactic?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Oh yeah.
Looked like it was going to be a snorefest early on, but it’s turned into a good one.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Gundys press conference is pretty golden
Sticking it to the media is always awesome
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Did anyone hear the Badgers' excuse
for that last stupid play, trying to spike the ball?
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
No, what was it?
I just figured they only know the running game, not the 2-minute offense.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
I don't know either.
Terrible coaching and/or quarterbacking, though.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
They thought it was basketball where the clock has tenths.
Or they thought the clock starts on the snap instead of the whistle.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
wait the clock starts on the whistle?
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
It actually starts when the ref waves his hands
Apparently
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
o
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Yep, and the ref usually blows the whistle so the players know he's waving the at the clock operator.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Yeah, when the ref winds his arm.
Because the previous play was tackled in bounds. The clock stops to move the chains, but starts again when the ref indicates they’re ready to go.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
spiking with 2 secs left= noob. and if you are spiking, put the ball down immediately
don’t pull the ball back, raise it up, and then spike it
spike it on the handoff
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
It was silly
He pulled it all the way back to spike it down. Just throw it straight down like the good QBs do in the NFL. If they claim its a fumble, they’ll go to the tape and see it wasn’t.
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
again college, they're not pro bowl
that wisconsin QB will probably rate lower in the draft because of the failed spike…
shall the chiefs pick him up? I sure hope so
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
no, the chiefs will wait until another team gets sick of him
then he’ll come to the chiefs
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
hopefully indy is sick of manning
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
he's done far too well for himself as a QB to come to KC
only mediocre players need apply
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
are you going to RR once the season is over?
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
i'm at RR everyday
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
even offseason? That's dedication
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
the royals are my #1
one of these days the dedication will re-paid with some good seasons
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
we have a bunch of good pitchers this year
butler, moose, hosmer, frenchy, will destroy our enemies
CHEN will win 15+ this year
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
ugh, the pitching is a trainwreck
the bruce chen signing was a disaster. i like hochevar, but thats it.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
I don't know why people hate chen
he wins games. Francis, Paulino, Duffy, Adcock, etc coudln’t even get 12 wins combined
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
paulino could bust out, but i hate watching him
too inconsistent. chen just wasn’t worth the money the gave him. he’s okay, but 2 years was a mess.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
he has 24 wins in 2 years
that’s more than any other player
I’m not sure what chen has but he’s good at it
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
he has a lot of junk that he throws
which induces poor contact. he’s not terrible, but nothing to be excited about.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
i remembered last season when chen went down
everybody was losing
when chen came back, he was the only one winning. That’s why I like chen. He’s consistent (except a few days)
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
pitching wins are a pretty bad statistic
he got a lot of wins despite giving up 4 runs in 5+ innings. chen is a fine 5th starter, just don’t see why the royals didn’t sign someone else like him and gain a draft pick.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
because FA would cost more and they're too inconsistent
i.e. francis. Top prospect and potential
horrible in action.
I like proven pitchers. they click with the offense and the team.
Some pitchers are good but are incompatible with the rest of the team
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
there were a lot of guys available who would give you what chen does
most with more upside than chen. i’m not losing sleep over chen being brought back, i just didn’t like the move.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
whats the over under on wins for the royals this year
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
we're not done drafting yet. So it's still up
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
i've got it at 74
most people have it at 77 probably
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
depends on if we draft edwin, we could get 80+
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
meh
a #3 starter at 11-12M a year isn’t where the royals need to invest. unless the payroll is going into the 95M range in the near future, jackson on the payroll would cause headaches down the road.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
i say wait 2 months, if he's still open
give him 1 year and pay him like when we acquired chen
I would love to see crow or soria start
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
1 year, sure
i doubt he does that, but i’d take him for a a season just for the hell of it
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
when it's time for off season and nobody wants you
you’ll accept anything
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
not likely with boras as his agent
some team will throw 4/40 at him because he is worth it.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
I actually like last season, we brought up the prospect
and let them play.
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
last season was fine
now it all rests on players getting close to their ceiling and finding some starters.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
btw why did we release
cabara? He was a powerhouse
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
they didn't
traded him to san francisco for jonathan sanchez. lefty pitcher with one year of team control left. strikes a lot of guys out, walks a lot of guys, doesn’t go deep into games. will tax the bullpen, but he’s an upgrade on the innings davies, o’sullivan, mazzaro gave the team in 2011.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
are we bringing more guys from AAA?
our bull pen looks a bit deserted
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
the bullpen is stacked
cain is a CF coming up from AAA, came over in the greinke trade. herrera might come up in the bullpen from AAA.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
I hope hoch comes out consistent
maybe meche will get better and come back =D
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
i like hochevar
if he just throws his slider more like he did in the second half, he could be a huge improvement for the team. need him to step it up consistently once and for all.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
is bubba going to AAA or is he going to the majors?
I would like to see a 2nd butler
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
bubba is going to low-A
kane county. dude needs a lot of work, hopefully it works out with him. boom or bust with him.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
I keep hearing jack saying
Bubba is better than all the royals players
I think he’s a bit overrated
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
no one knows what he is yet
kansas amateur baseball leaves a lot to be desired. he did well in elite circuits though. he has a huge mechanical problem in his swing right now. probably see a lot of strikeouts with him this season. if he puts it all together though, he could be huge.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
what was the win total last year for the royals does anyone remember
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
i do but I don't want to talk about it
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
let me guess the over under was 72 on wins
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
below, 71 wins. we were good at the beginning
horrible at the middle
hosmer came up
hoch became consistent
and we finished decent
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
71-91
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
"we're a big ten team"
“we have to play a road game in Pac-10 city”
“we sad”
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Heh.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
"Splattered" is a too-seldom used adjective in football.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Tebowed is not...
Chief-blinders-on - January 2, 2012
Soon to be shelved for the off season.
:D :D :D
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
so...if romeo becomes our HC, who's going to be the OC and DC?
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Siranni moves to OC.
Muir becomes the new DC.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Thomas for DC.
Don’t know about OC, but I hope we get one soon because he’ll need to assemble a staff and talk to Pioli about off-season strategy.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
I guess HC has to come before all that.....
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
well it depends on what you want a HC to do
does he control the entire team?
set the tempo?
or is he basically another OC or DC?
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
What ever the situation, he picks his OC and DC.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
what will be the score in the pitt donkey game
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
depends if tebow or big ben shows up
it could be a slaughter fest, a tebow fest, or like the chiefs game
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
24 to -7
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
20-3 steelers
my buddy plays for them, i guess i’ll root for them now that the chiefs are done
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
Pitt 13
Denver minus three
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Oh damn what a tackle!
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
vermeil for oc muir oline marty for DC got to keep this 60 to 70 year old coaching tree together.
niageriannit1 - January 2, 2012
Ha! Bring back Levy and Gansz.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Open Question: Who are you rooting for in the playoffs?
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
SF, because I want to put some brakes on all this offense D-baggery.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
SF or detroit
I like underdogs.
and maybe tebow because I would love to see elway have a fit
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
also I'm rooting for the bengels. Just cause
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Niners.
Great D and a bust QB draft pick rejuvenated by a HC with a sack.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Houston, Detroit, New York, San Francisco
bh13 - January 2, 2012
ew you like the giants?
I hate houston, overrated as fuck
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Gotta give credit to a team on its fourth QB.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
I like yates but I think houston is overrated
like in the pre-season, houston is going to the SB, blah blah blah
every single pre-season
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
The Giants mostly because a friend is a fan
I figure if my team can’t win it all, might as well pull for his.
bh13 - January 2, 2012
When the Chiefs aren't in it, I cheer against teams that have won the Super Bowl the most
This year that means the Steelers, Patriots, 49ers and Packers.
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
Packers.
I want to be the only team that beat them.
Plus it would piss off Brett Favre.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
Wheeden can stand in there, I'll give him that.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
like a young chris weinke
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
Blackmon's so over rated.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
And he has no cardio.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Levy Adcock got knocked on his ass
Doesn’t look good at guard
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
I thought they said he was playing left tackle?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
For moved over to left guard for some reason
I suspect due to injury
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Damn, that happened fast.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Luck should have won this game
single-handedly by now. I mean, 32 NFL teams have lined up for his services, and he can’t even beat a Big 12 team.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
well he is an NFL QB.
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Really?
Who does he play for?
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Colts
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
When does he take his first snap?
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
in 8 months
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
We shall see.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
I haven't seen nearly all of Luck's games,
but every time I have seen him, he’s looked very good but not like Superman. I think a lot of the hype came because he looked so good for a sophomore, but I haven’t seen a lot of progression from last year to this year.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
How can you progress past perfection?
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Might be like the announcers said, and he just makes it look too easy.
Also, his offense isn’t a flashy one. I readily admit that I’m not a pro QB evaluator.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
score the damn TD
and don’t leave it to the kicker
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
he does the little things that will matter in the NFL
like that screen pass right there. dude just knows where to go with the ball when feeling pressure.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
cassel or orton could have done the same
if the chiefs had a screen in their playbook
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Cassel probably would have panicked
And thrown it into the turf.
bh13 - January 2, 2012
Lol what are you talkin bout
We have plenty of screens
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
in the 90s, I haven't seen a screen all year
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Are you kidding?
kcgiant06 - January 2, 2012
I'm talking full screens like in the 90s,
bubble screens, in my opinion, are not real screens
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Please research the Packers game
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Or the play that lost the Chiefs the first Chargers game?
kcgiant06 - January 2, 2012
This is the first I've seen of em
And yes, he does look very good.
ArrowSpread - January 2, 2012
They seem to protect him a lot
With the running game and short passes. It would have been nice to see him throw more.
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
he won't survive with the chiefs OL
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
He's calling audibles and getting guys in position
Dont see that too often from a QB In college
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
yeah, his game is NFL ready
everything he does could work in the NFL. thats my only fear about RGIII, a lot of what he does won’t work at the next level.
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
Yeah, Baylor uses him wrong.
They really should have had him throwing more and running less.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
i dont know, it seemed to work
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
Left too much time on the clock
kcgiant06 - January 2, 2012
Agreed
Wait and See - January 2, 2012
C'mon, throw a pick, Luck!
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
C'mon, smoke a joint, Luck!
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
SUCK IT ELWAY
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
OK, that was a good play.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Colts fired the entire front office.
The Polians are out.
ArrowSpread - January 2, 2012
Old news, apparently.
ArrowSpread - January 2, 2012
they fired manning??????
sweet time to recruit
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Manning
is way above front office level.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
One of the reasons Luck
will not be a bust.
He was considered the #1 prospect all year and the pressure didn’t get to him.
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
the pressure of college ball?
didn’t get to Leaf, either.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Las Vegas did though.
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Las Vegas gets a LOT of people
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Yep leaf especially
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Leaf wasn't the top dog
Manning was…but if you are comparing Leaf to Luck you obviously don’t know about his background.
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
I was comparing college pressure to
NFL pressure. Not sure how you missed that… perhaps my grammar is faulty.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Well you put Leaf
in the conversation. Luck didn’t let the presssure get to him as being the top dog, and he won’t let it get to him as the #1 pick.
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
Leaf had red flags. But that was still an era when people didn't pay as much attention to those.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
you put pressure into the conversation
maybe since Luck was already considered the top QB prospect already and had no competition, he had no pressure. Heck, who knows. Just don’t see how a guy handing it off for losses is a great NFL QB.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
26/30
for 344 is handing it off? Yes, I put pressure cuz that was the topic…by putting in Leaf, you discounted it…..So there is more pressure being a guy under the radar and not talked about then a guy that was the #1 prospect all season?
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
The pressure
of being the best player in college….didn’t bother him
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
No way Luck is the best player in college.
Best QB? Maybe.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Who is the
best player in college then?
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
Stanzi.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
"best player"
depends on a lot of things. Position for one. But if you just go “best athlete” it’s hard to make a case for Luck over RGIII. If “QB” is the only consideration… well, you get my point.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
lots of people tell me
some guy named richardson is the best player. Others say Blackmon. Some say Rief, but he’s a redneck with corn growing out his truck.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
I hate college OT, but I'm hoping for it here.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
And there ya go.
ArrowSpread - January 2, 2012
Love college OT.
Absolutely love it.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
NO GOOD!!!!!!
kcgiant06 - January 2, 2012
AHAHAHAAAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!!!1!!
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Wow
bh13 - January 2, 2012
He sucked!
For Luck :)
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
rec'd
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
And greened.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
at least it wasn't blocked....twice
camucr - January 2, 2012
Let's go back and look at the replay of the first field goal attempt
which was inside the post
HowSweetItIs - January 2, 2012
Lol luck in ot
Let’s see what he do
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
cuz
26/30 f0r 344 isnt enough
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
Hmm, I think I just saw our OGotF get beat by a blitzer.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
That's it
Take him off the board. We can’t have players that make mistakes.
bh13 - January 2, 2012
Me too
Seems to have trouble with that tonight
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Drama.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
suck it luck
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
This is too much drama for luck's mama
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Game!
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
What a finish
bh13 - January 2, 2012
not done yet
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
So, Luck hands off and loses...
Weeden passes the ball and wins.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
this game is not over!
BeauJackson - January 2, 2012
right.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
How is throwing
30 times handing it off?
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
money drive for the missed FG
how many did he throw?
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
He threw one
With a blitzes in his face
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
One time
but you can’t put that on Luck….that is the Stanford offense.
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
So that's the reason Cassel sucks?
It’s the Chiefs offense? OK. Now I can root for Cassel again. Thanks.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
You make no sense
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
Really?
The number one pick in the draft can’t throw the ball with the game on the line and get it in the end zone in college when every good receiver gets open? WHEEE! Let’s trade KC’s future for that. Cassel can do that.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
indeed that sounds like a QB the chiefs would draft
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Please name
me Stanford’s good WRs. Luck was 26/30 for 344…he had zero turnovers in the redzone all year….please do not try to say he can’t pass the ball.
AZDiamond75 - January 2, 2012
but he can fumble during the hand off. is he another tebow?
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
lucking...nah that sounds horrible
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
He never fumbled the snap
Wtf
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
hand off= QB to RB
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
That's not fumbling the snap
Thats fumbling the handoff, which was on the RB anyways
ChiefWarPaint - January 3, 2012
Ahem...
Brsrkr - January 3, 2012
Except he did
You have issues or something man
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012

Chiefshero - January 2, 2012

Chiefshero - January 2, 2012

Tarkus - January 2, 2012

Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
BLOCK THAT KICK!!!!
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
screw that. COMEON COWBOYS!
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
I hope you realize that you just lost all credibility
for any future “draft Weeden” posts you might write :)
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS
btw I’m for the wisconsin QB. not weeden
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
We could do worse in the later rounds.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
So anticlimatic
ChiefWarPaint - January 2, 2012
And done. gg
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Blackmon just said he's coming out.
Bizarre.
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Not really. He participated in senior day.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
this conversation is confusing
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
What context are you seeing?
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
first post: coming out=perverted idea
and now senior day…
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
Okies.....
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
coming out= he's gay
geeze you kids today
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
I'm flattered.
By the “kids” part, not the other thing.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Coming out = entering the draft
bh13 - January 2, 2012
No, he JUST said it.
Heather asked him on the field after the game, and he said
“I’m gonna go ahead and enter the draft.”
Didn’t say he’d get an agent, so…
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
Yeah, but that's about the worst kept secret in sports.
People have known he’s coming out pretty much all year.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
He didn't hurt his value any tonight.
Tarkus - January 2, 2012
He's so over-rated, he's under-rated.
Brsrkr - January 2, 2012
Chiefs should trade Bowe
to move up in the draft for Blackmon.
Tarkus - January 3, 2012
Wow, I was just thinking that!
Good times.
Brsrkr - January 3, 2012
Nice!
Tarkus - January 3, 2012
dat's all folks
Chiefshero - January 2, 2012
rec'd
g’night
neiowakcfan - January 2, 2012
If the chiefs draft weeden in the first round
I will stop being a fan of the franchise
ChiefWarPaint - January 3, 2012
Revised proposal
OK Colts, you can have our 1st this year and next, and Cassel, and Baldwin to replace Reggie Wayne. And if you want to play the 4-3, you can have Dorsey to go along with Freeney. Payton is going to be OK, and you can use our pick to get Keenum or somebody who you can sign much cheaper than Luck. Really. Think about it.
