THAT IS THE ONE NAME I NEVER WANT TO HEAR OR SEE. EVER.
I made a comment about know how the Ravens fans felt when he missed that, and my roommate was confused as to what it meant. I just told him what game to look up, and that I’d punch him straight in the mouth if he read that damned name out loud.
The refs missed that call. He hauled that ball in, held it to his chest and began to turn around. The ball was knocked free, but I’ll maintain that the proper call there was TD.
Might a well be a Patriots/Giants rematch now.
Before this game, I was hoping for a brother throwdown
Sacramento Chief - January 22, 2012
49ners!
Chiefshero - January 22, 2012
In the 1st Quarter I told
my brother-in-law that it would be a Patriots/Giants rematch in SB
ilamuku - January 22, 2012
If I was cundif...
I would book a seperate plane ride home… or maybe to another state since he may receive some death threats from fans…
Akr_Baby - January 22, 2012
Its alright Ed Reed is gonna hold him while Ray Lewis shanks him
glad that thug didn’t get another shot at a title.
shotty - January 22, 2012

niageriannit1 - January 22, 2012

upamtn - January 22, 2012
HA!
Rec for the tv sales bit. Hilarious.
SCKSChief - January 23, 2012
Unfortunately...
I forsee Billy Cundiff becoming a female police detective on the West side of Baltimore
Dotcommer Dude KC - January 23, 2012

But at least cundiff made two other fgs
Sudden - January 22, 2012
We would have won if TKWSNBN
didn’t go O-fer three
stenerud's roost - January 22, 2012
Wait,,,,,,,,,,,,whaat?
We have been there before? It has been so long since we have actually been in a game that mattered, I have nearly forgotten what that is like!
G.L. - January 22, 2012
nick lowery would of made it
niageriannit1 - January 22, 2012
Or....................??
stenerud's roost - January 22, 2012
jan
niageriannit1 - January 22, 2012
Yep, their season is over on a kick.
Chief-blinders-on - January 22, 2012
Daaamn I can't believe that.
Cundiff is a good kicker. That’s the kind of thing that can lose a kicker his job, though.
bamachief5558 - January 22, 2012 via mobile
Shows how important good kickers are...
in a moment it can all be over even if you have a pretty decent one if everything isn’t perfect.
That hold has to be laces out perfect too. At least signing another five Ravens during the offseason should be easier than last season.
Billy Cundiff
vsRyan Succop kicker competition anyone?Chief-blinders-on - January 22, 2012
That hold may have mattered if it was a 50+ yarder.
On a 32 yard FG attempt, that hold was more than good enough to do the job.
TRSChief - January 22, 2012
So long these days
Chief-blinders-on - January 22, 2012
Looks like somebody will be keeping Elliot and Vanderjagt company...
in the Place Kicker Hall of Shame.
jhoward8780 - January 22, 2012
you can't mention his name
Flagged :)
Ren - January 22, 2012 via iPhone app
Yah
don’t even TYPE his name!
I’ll never get over that game.
Full Metal Jayhawk - January 22, 2012 via mobile
Seriously?
THAT IS THE ONE NAME I NEVER WANT TO HEAR OR SEE. EVER.

Ha!
Tell it like it is!
Mully - January 22, 2012
I hate kickers
SCKSChief - January 22, 2012
It should never have gotten to the point of a field goal!
The receiver in the end zone should have caught the ball!
Flyboy26 - January 22, 2012
He did catch it...
But the defender made two excellent plays.
Chief-blinders-on - January 22, 2012
I'd argue that he did catch it.
The refs missed that call. He hauled that ball in, held it to his chest and began to turn around. The ball was knocked free, but I’ll maintain that the proper call there was TD.
amazingtaters - January 22, 2012
Didn't get the second foot down with control
It was close…but, alas, no cigar.
Still shoulda caught that one.
SCKSChief - January 23, 2012
kits been a while since that disaster occurred
And yes the kicker who shall remain unnamed was run out of town by sundown.
Ren - January 22, 2012 via iPhone app
sad though that the brother had to deal
Wishing it was the 49er coach finally getting his due
Ren - January 22, 2012 via iPhone app
I was SO pulling for the Ravens ... not that I like them much, but I really, really hate the Patriots
for any baseball fans out there, esp Royals fans, just think" New York Yankees … yeah, like THAT
/sigh
upamtn - January 22, 2012
The worst part of that box score...
Is seeing Allen ripping it up and that idiot Hackett letting Bono throw it 30 times.
Clay Wendler - January 22, 2012
Especially when Gannon came in during a Bono injury and was 5/8 with 30 yards
The sexiest athlete who never was…
Sudden - January 22, 2012
man, i was at that game
I just remember the stadium being silent
Chiefs fan in ST Louis - January 22, 2012 via mobile
When he missed that kick thats the first thing that came to my mind
And some of those emotions came back to me too. Its crazy when something sticks with you even 16 years later
Chiefs08Matt - January 22, 2012 via mobile
we can?
one title game, in ’93? please.
be cee - January 23, 2012
I hate the Ravens and Jets more than anyone not in AFC West
FrankPitts - January 23, 2012 via mobile
Lee Evans holds onto that TD
and the Ravens would have been in the Super Bowl. Cundiff should never have had to attempt that kick. Still, he should have made it.
