The 2012 Senior Bowl week is starting today with the official weigh-ins. You can see weigh-in results for the South team and the North team.
The East-West Shrine game (last weekend) and the Senior Bowl (next weekend) are two of the big postseason all-star games that give NFL teams a chance to see the prospects for the 2012 NFL draft up close. Here's a Senior Bowl primer entering the week.
The weigh-ins are always interesting (like this Terrence Cody picture) as it gives teams to see the true height and weight of players. Sometimes colleges will make their quarterbacks a couple inches taller or another player a few pounds heavier. NFL teams will get all the legit measurements now.
And for the Chiefs the Senior Bowl serves another purpose -- the job fair. Many out-of-work coaches go down to the Senior Bowl trying to catch on with a team and perhaps the Chiefs will find one (or two) coordinator down there.

That's one big boy
but from the picture he doesn’t look like a blob of crap. He doesn’t even look as fat as Vince Wilfork.

Let the overreaction to interviews begin...

TYLER PALKO mention
Mayock mentioned Palko when talking about Kellen Moore’s arm strength saying that Moore has better arm strength than Palko. That doesn’t say much but thought I’d let everyone know
jcgokc - January 23, 2012
So his arm is as strong as an uncooked noodle?
The Gentry - January 23, 2012
No...
Stronger than an uncooked noodle more like as strong as a toddler
jcgokc - January 23, 2012
Don't you mean wet noodle?
Tarkus - January 23, 2012
In this scenario I believe Palko has the wet noodle
and Moore has the umcooked noodle, meaning slightly stronger but still a noodle.

Moore and Martin
are both under 6’0’’? That’s bad news for them. Now Foles on the other hand… I had no idea he was 244. He’s in Roethlisberger territory.

Anybody see any standouts in the East-West game?
Brsrkr - January 23, 2012
Doug Martin's a big dude, 5-9 219lbs.
Looked like he had some good cuts, just not good straight ahead speed. Might be a pretty good ZBS back.

I think Cordy Glenn is, like, three normal men taped together.
