It's that time of year again. The NFL season is over for Kansas City and the fans are looking towards the future. Free agency, the draft, and coaching changes all loom over Arrowhead Stadium and it's faithful. It's a great mystery what will happen, but everyone will give their best guesses. First things first however.

In this day and age of footballs darkening the sky, Kansas City has a huge advantage with the top corner tandem in the NFL. In his two seasons under Emmitt Thomas, Carr has made incredible strides to be the player he is today. He provides an exceptional and rare contrast from Brandon Flowers which gives the opposition fits. Carr is very imposing for a corner, listed at six feet and 207 pounds. The 25-year-old can play the bigger receiver while Flowers (listed at 5'9'' and 187) can use his speed and quickness to blanket smaller opponents.
I don't understand the logic of letting Carr go because you would be sinking too much money into one position group. Many teams throw the ball more than ever so why wouldn't you use cap space on your secondary and pass rushers?
If Carr is replaced by someone who isn't good, the pass rush suffers and in turn so do Flowers and the rest of the secondary. They become less important because that side is getting picked on. Now Eric Berry and Kendrick Lewis have to roll coverage and that hurts their ability to roam freely.
With Berry and Lewis as safeties the Chiefs are the hardest team to find open receivers against, bar none. Only three times all season did Kansas City give up more than 100 receiving yards to one player (Garcon, Floyd, Marshall).
Now onto Mr. Bowe.
Bowe ended the season with 81 receptions and 1,159 yards. That's a great season with any quarterback throwing the ball. Then factor in he had Tyler Palko "throwing" it for four games. Bowe can be a dominating player and has developed into one of the best blocking receivers in the league as well. Losing him would be a crippling blow to the offense.
Even if Jonathan Baldwin turns out to be an excellent player that still leaves the Chiefs with a gaping hole on the other side. Breaston is much more effective in the slot when he can work over the middle. Defenses will just pack eight-in-the-box and force Cassel/Orton/other random QB to throw, making Jamaal Charles much less of a weapon.
Bowe is an elite talent who's just entering the prime of his career. Don't tell me about dropped passes either. While he'll drop the occasional ball Bowe has become a force and easily the best wide receiver this team has had since Otis Taylor. Think about that for a minute.
It's not easy to just draft or sign replacements for players of this caliber. Football is the ultimate team game. It requires 11 players to work in unison at all times. One big mistake or below-average player could drastically alter the game.
Before Scott Pioli worries about another house, he should worry about his own.

There shouldn't be any no votes honestly
BAMFSpecialOps - January 5, 2012
and yet as of 11am (mtn) there are 34 people who have been smoking crack... :)
Eastcoastransplant - January 6, 2012
Absolutely
Unless Bowe somehow wants Fitz money or some team is willing to throw the world at us for em, no reason we can’t keep both AND still do damage in other positions we need filled
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
As long as we don't let Bowe/Carr just walk
Then IMO that is keeping the house in order. We may not be able to keep both long term, but as long as we get something in return it will hopefully balance out
BAMFSpecialOps - January 5, 2012
I think this important to keep in perspective
There is a limit to how much I would expect Pioli to spend on these two probably somewhere even with or south of what the franchise tag would cost us. If either of them goes then we better hear that the Chiefs chased them and that the team that got them overpaid for them.

any word on what half wright had to say today about the hc search
i heard he had a big announcement

okay any info on what he had to say
niageriannit1 - January 5, 2012
Bitching about how Fisher isn't coming here(shocker)
And somehow its a travesty, like it was even a remote shot in the first place
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
yeah some more half wright BS
niageriannit1 - January 5, 2012
yep
And his “sources”
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
I used to say this more than I do now
His “sources” appear to have been pretty spot-on about Pioli/Haley
joplin chiefs fan - January 5, 2012
How so?
Tarkus - January 5, 2012
He said
that Fisher was less interested in the Chiefs because Fisher did not get the feeling from Chiefs’ ownership that they were agressiveley trying to win. Meaning, he didn’t think they were willing to put up the dollars to build a winner. This all came from a report by MIke Silver of Yahoo Sports who Wright says is always dead on.
Chiefs447 - January 5, 2012
And yet he's interested in Miami/STL, who dont have the greatest owners either
Dolphins came out and said they will not be outbid. Miami+Overpaying = next head coach.
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
Right
but are they willing to put up money for players? I don’t know, I’m asking. Seems like Miami does.
And for what it’s worth, Wright also pointed out that he isn’t interested in the Bucs and that the Chiefs and Bucs have two things in common: Both have been way under the cap in recent years and both owners own a soccer team.
Chiefs447 - January 5, 2012
if clark feels strong about being cheap then why not get romeo signed up, he will be a cheap hire for kc
niageriannit1 - January 5, 2012
Well I mean we've brought in better talent than them
So I would say we’re willing to bring in good players.
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
I know we've drafted great talent
Not sure how much better talent we’ve “brought” in though. I’m not saying he’s right. Just telling niagerian what he said.
Chiefs447 - January 5, 2012
Oh I know
But that’s what I’m saying, we’ve brought in more and better talent that Miami/STL….but come on, south beach plus over-paying him, bet my paycheck he’s the Dolphins coach
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
I know I would be.
Chiefs447 - January 5, 2012
if clark is cheap then he paid both herm and now haley a years salary to sit on there ass
niageriannit1 - January 5, 2012
Again
I think the “being cheap” part is about players only. No one can argue that we haven’t exactly thrown the kitchen sink at FA’s. I’m not saying we should or should have, just stating the facts that we haven’t
Chiefs447 - January 5, 2012
Sounds like he didn't think they would pay him enough
I’ve never been impressed with this guy, I don’t think he’s going to be an incredible success at his next job, and I couldn’t care less if he doesn’t come here.

Not a bad coach, but never matched the ’99 run.
DolemiteGK - January 5, 2012
Dollars = Winner?
With the Redskins, Cowboys, Jets, etc sitting at home, how does spending a shit load equal winning games?
I do think you have to spend an average amount of money to have a playoff caliber NFL team. That said, if you draft well and pay the right guys, you shouldn’t have to spend Danny Snyder dollars.
DolemiteGK - January 5, 2012
add the eagles to the list

Has anybody noticed
that Megatron makes huge plays when he is in the slot? Also, it helps out Young and Burleson….why wouldn’t we play Baldwin in the slot and see if a LB or safety can cover him.
AZDiamond75 - January 5, 2012
Seems like Baldwin was actually used in the slot on several occasions this year.
ExRoyalsFan - January 5, 2012
Looked to me that he was flexed like an H-Back
more than being in the slot (if it makes any difference)
His Royal Greatness - January 5, 2012
maybe we tried to give him some of Moeaki's sets to get him involved
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
I think Satch that he was going to be in the slot
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
Sign them both to market value now, then move on to the draft and free agency
Signing our own is the biggest no-brainer ever. We build through the draft then once our draft picks become great, let them walk or ship em’ off?
craig in calgary - January 5, 2012
exactly what the KC Royals do.
reedeasy - January 5, 2012 via Android app
The Royals have no choice. That's why I gave up on baseball.
electriclight - January 5, 2012
They won't get to walk
Pioli will at least try to figure out how to trade them. He loves draft picks and good young proven players are worth a lot of them.
Wait and See - January 5, 2012
Why keep good players when you can flip them for draft picks who might be good players?
Reminds me of the Family Guy episode where he could chose between the boat and the magic box.
“Sure the boat is a boat, but what’s in the magic box could be anything…it could even be a boat!”
craig in calgary - January 5, 2012
We can't keep shipping off the best players
not that Pioli has to date, we should only trade from the box marked “Mis-Fits” for the Chiefs schemes
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
U think romeo the guy or not
niageriannit1 - January 5, 2012
it seems Pioli is interviewing outside guys as a mere formality.
i think RAC is most assuredly the guy.
reedeasy - January 5, 2012 via Android app
sign them, but not top priority
Both players are asking for top tier pay, and while they are major parts of our team, they are not that good. Let the market determine their contract value, then sign them to competitive contracts. KC’s top priority is getting the coaching staff selected.
Geoff Eldringhoff - January 5, 2012
one of them will get franchised...
most likely Bowe since the avg top5 CB salary is markedly less than top 5 WR avg. the other will get signed. Pioli is all about the core.
reedeasy - January 5, 2012 via Android app
other way around
WR less than CB
reedeasy - January 5, 2012 via Android app
I disagree
we better get these two signed before they sniff the market because money talks, and if we don’t offer more than other teams, they’ll be gone. Period. Don’t even let them have the chance to explore.
Yes, they are that good
Chiefs447 - January 5, 2012
Agree with 447
They are 2 important players for us. Neither is perfect, but both are very good. We need their talents on this team.
u2nspenserfan - January 5, 2012
Ditto
Both can be productive starters on a playoff football team.
DolemiteGK - January 5, 2012
I think they will both get signed
just not for the amount that the players are asking for, and not right now. Dwayne Bowe wants Larry Fitzgerald money and Brandon Carr wants Brandon Flowers money, which is out of the question because neither has performed to that level yet.
Geoff Eldringhoff - January 5, 2012
Carr should get Flowers money
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
Disagree
They look as good on gameday, but I think that’s mostly because Flowers is usually paired up against better competition.
joplin chiefs fan - January 5, 2012
Disagree
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
...
I know I numbered that, but I feel that was enough said.
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
all good CB's have some struggles
Revis had his last Sunday
7.5 M is not extravagant for a total package CB
I think that is what Flowers got
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
My Disagreement was to Joplin Chiefs Fan
Flowers is making about 8.3 mil on average. 6 years 50.6 mil. I’ll gladly give Flowers 7 mil. We could have the best Secondary in football (barring stupid F’ing injuries) for 5 years at least. Nick Wright was sayin’ there will be 9+ mill a year offers on the open market for him. Which I don’t really doubt considering the way open markets are. A team like the Cowboys hurting for a CB could pony up the $$$. I think 9 mill is too much…
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
Eric Berry is not on the Cowboys
I think the 4 amigos like each other a lot.
not saying they should take less than value but Berry is here :)
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
rookie contract
i know. What is your point? You lost me.
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
jeez, it is pretty obvious I agree
good stuff?
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
struggles
Those are good numbers to give up to an elite WR. Specially with Manning throwing to Wayne. Carr is a pisnimp. Fo Shizzle
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
agree
When I think of the other 32 #1 WRs in the NFL there are only a handful I’d consider to be better than Bowe
Carr on the other hand is in that top five of #2 CBs in the league
Pioli and Hunt let these guys play out their contracts knowing that they had talent. Had the brass extended these guys last year they’d have cost less than they’re going to cost now. There are only a couple of over paid players on this roster and when their contracts are up they won’t be getting that kind of pay again. Pay these two PERFORMERS and keep the team’s consistency moving forward.
Knocknheads - January 5, 2012
agree
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
Right, because
HCs win games out on the field. How is Dwayne Bowe “not that good”? Brandon Carr is an above average CB no matter how you slice it. Best on the team? I still like Flowers better, but Carr is a great value at that pick and in a pass happy NFL having a known above avg CB is WAY better than rolling the dice on draft or bringing in someone else’s sloppy seconds.
I am all for signing Crennel too, but this all has to come together… the talent has to BE there to coach it into something special… if head coach is more important than players then let’s re-sign Tyler Palko and start him next year, since it would make no difference anyway, Romeo or whomever could turn him into Peyton Manning… Listens to earpiece Oh, oh I’m sorry I’m getting that we tried that and Tyler Palko DID play and he was terrible. Ok back to you.
mugglemage - January 6, 2012
I'm Kind of On the Fence
With Pioli as it is. At first I was a big Pioli supporter but I’ve been tapering off.
If we don’t resign Carr and Bowe I will for sure not be happy with Pioli anymore. It goes against the whole message from day one which was developing young talent. They are both young and they have both developed well. Not to mention there is no guarantee that anyone in Free Agency or the draft can or will produce as well as they can.
Plus lets say we get someone like Blackmon and a corner in the draft and lose Carr and Bowe we make no progress and maybe even take some steps back.
chiefs_kc_fan - January 5, 2012
Absolutely have to sign both of these guys! They are core players, I will become extremely violent if Pioli doesn’t make this happen!
Chiefsallday25 - January 5, 2012 via mobile
Our offense needs Dwayne Bowe
If we had to choose one I would pay big money for Bowe. I’d be much more confident in our defense overcoming the loss of Carr than our offense overcoming the loss of Bowe. I love Carr, but our offense is absolutely putrid with Bowe on the sideline.
manhattan_chief - January 5, 2012
You can cover up a poor secondary with a great pass rush.
You can’t cover up a shitty recieving core. Signing both is a huge no-brainer, I’d also say Bowe should be signed, not to mention he’s a better WR than Carr is DB.
craig in calgary - January 5, 2012
I agree
The only problem is… we don’t have a great pass rush. We have 1 great pass rusher and a bunch of meh. I’ll give you that Houston really started to show up late and Bailey looked good in sub packages. I wouldn’t call it a GREAT pass rush by ANY means… Carr is a versatile player though. Zone, man, he can play both very well. We don’t have anyone to do that behind him. We have missed a lot of cornerbacks. (bring back Herm to evaluate talent there) I don’t think Herm Edwards missed on any DB. Page, Pollard, Flowers, Carr…
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
These deals need to get done this offseason, period.
u2nspenserfan - January 5, 2012
Nice to hear callers give AP shout outs on the radio
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
Great post....req'd
I’m sure there could be some debate over your analysis, but not from me. I agree whole heartedly that keeping the core impact players will set us up for becoming the perennial playoff and SB powerhouse. This is the “building from within concept” that has been stressed and understood as the way to build a consistantly winning franchise.
I also agree with you on the true value of our DB core and WR core. We have outstanding young players there that will only get better with a QBoF and soldi lines on both sides.
TXChiefan - January 5, 2012
We’re also bottom 5 or so in salary. We can afford to pay some of these players and still be well below league avg.
DolemiteGK - January 5, 2012
That line alone justifies how Pioli operates. Bowe possess tremendous value. My bet is Pioli inks him.
Carr – whole different story. See how NE let Asante Samuel walk and a few others but none bigger than Samuels.
58 was my friend - January 5, 2012
Wasn't Asante alot older though?
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
don't think he was. he wasn't sign after his rookie contract expired
58 was my friend - January 5, 2012
Samuel
was a #1 CB and he wanted the biggest payday at the time, deservedly so.
The difference with what the Pats can do and what the Chiefs can do comes down to Offense. The Pats can score with the best of them so their defense doesn’t need to be top shelf.
The Chiefs offense is in trouble if they are two scores down, so losing anyone on defense that can help keep the scoring gap close is pretty critical, IMO.
I don’t understand the idea of not resigning both of these guys. If there was a character issue then I’d let them walk, but these two have been team players since they got here and both of them have improved their game to the point of being respected in this league. You can’t count on that from the next guy up.
Knocknheads - January 5, 2012
Nope
Proven, though Bowe had some brain farts off the field and on too, both are worth the money.
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
Flowers24. Good Post. BUT poor choice on the photo. Did Bowe make that catch?
You could have use my favorite photo of Bowe (towering over Leon Hall – not a shabby DB I might add)
58 was my friend - January 5, 2012
Yes he did
That was that great teardrop Orton threw towards the sidelines (If I remember correctly)
craig in calgary - January 5, 2012
Bobbled it then caught it and somehow got his feet down and in
Was so close but they didn’t even give it a second look. Just another awesome 1st down for #82. Pay this man.
Shanghai_Chiefs - January 5, 2012 via mobile
Flowers pic
IS WAY BETTER. Just cleared Champ’s fingertips (not a shabby corner) and got two heals in while falling out of bounds. Top 5 catches for Bowe easy this year.
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
The question should read "Doing Something With Them or Addressing their Future with the Team" Be the first priority
So long as we sign or trade them for good compensation, I am fine, but we need to make something great out of both of them.
I would like to keep them both, but I trust “The Don” and will go along with whatever he decides is best…
Skrappy - January 5, 2012
u got to keep both too good a talents
niageriannit1 - January 5, 2012
Nice Post Flowers
It did make a thought jump into my head
WHAT THE HELL HEAD COACH CANDIDATE WOULD NOT WANT TO COACH THIS TEAM?
sorry for screaming, but it seems no one wants to coach here.
We got tons of talented players, tons of cap (if you include the 20-25 Million not spent this year) we should have the ability to blow 150 Million next year on player salaries.
It boggles my mind that coaches are not lined up at the door to lead Kansas City
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
The only real impediment I can see
Wears #7. Any head coach willing to take Cassel as a starter at this point in Cassel’s career does not deserve to be a head coach beyond high school level.
midcalchief - January 5, 2012
The Tipping Point?
Indianapolis might end up with 30-35 Million in QB’s this up-coming season.
Maybe Polian blinked, Irsay did not and fired his ass
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
It goes back to
Earlier in this thread when everyone was ripping Nick Wright for being “half wright”. It goes back to what Nick Wright said. He admitted with the reports that Jeff Fisher not wanting to coach in KC due to the fact that Hunt isn’t committed to winning. It’s a fact. God bless the Hunt family, specifically Lamar, but that is the way the Chiefs have been run since I can remember (about 15 years ago). We don’t go after free agents. We trade away or release tons of talent (Joe Horn, Tony Gonzalez, Rich Gannon, Brian Waters… the list goes on). The Hunts want to make all the money they can (and they should). However, it seems they don’t believe that consistently winning will get them enough revenue to replace what they spend.
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
two points :)
what Peterson did is what peterson did, Lamar’s guy
I agree winning NFL championships does not make money for the teams involved, More a Pride thing I think
Pioli has been said to be Clarks’ Guy (self-annoited maybe)
but after reading about the Polians in Indianapolis I could see how a GM thinks himself a consigliere
While Pioli might even think is he is a war-time consigliere
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
On the contrary
Winning Championships builds a greater fan base and ultimately sells more tickets and merchandise.
JayhawksNChiefs - January 6, 2012
Wow
I didn’t finish my thought on Nick’s admission. He admitted he has been wrong about ripping Pioli for not going out and getting the players. He said if it’s true that Fisher doesn’t want to coach here because Hunt wont invest the money to put a team together. Say what you will about Nick, but the dude is right a lot and he readily admits to being wrong when he is. I think a lot of people put their Chiefs blinders on when he talks Chiefs. I love the guys analysis. Thank god it’s not more Jim Rome… Rome does the best interviews in the world, but that bag of D is the worst analyst in the world, I mean really? Really Rome? We are gonna say the same thing 5 times in a row different ways? Seriously? We are going to speak like a high school student writing an essay trying to reach their word requirement? Are you kidding? I’m just saying, if you are just tryin’ to fill time you gotta act like you know what you are talking about. Its just not gonna cut it. I mean you repeat yourself like no one heard you the first time around? …….
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
New Start
Chiefs need a great OC for head coach.DEf cords that become HC often treat the QB position as any other. In this era a team cant win like that you need a QB gunslinger & a great HC play caller. The Qb must be a priority & a great OC as a HC would make that happen.THe Packers Oc would be the ideal situation as Chiefs new HC.KC lets Bowe go bye bye to much $$.Sign FA WR from James JOnes from the Pack for much less.Make Carr a priority resign. The biggest move of the year Chiefs use new HC (Pack OC) to get FA QB gunslinger Matt Flynn.Enough of the average QB’s already (Cassel). Then new coach brings in LB coach from Packers Kevin Green as D cord.
bf assassin - January 5, 2012
WATERS
Brain Waters wanted to leave! uh there is this other cheap team out there that does not spend money and they are winners. (STEELERS) WHY DOES EVERYBODY ON HERE BASH HUNT AND Pioli ALL THE TIME ? CARR GETS PAID, BOWE WILL BE FRANCHISED. AND I HOPE TO GOD THAT GREENBAY GUY IS NOT THE MAN.
beano58 - January 5, 2012
Because
WE ARE NOT WINNING ANY ^@#$ING GAMES. WE HAVN’T WON A PLAYOFF GAME SINCE… EXACTLY NO ONE REMEMBERS BECAUSE IT SEEMINGLY HAS NEVER HAPPENED. WE DON’T PONY UP THE DOUGH TO SIGN OUR OWN PLAYERS LIKE JARED ALLEN. WATERS WANTED TO LEAVE BUT WE HAD HIM UNDER CONTRACT AND HE IS STILL PLAYING AT A PRO BOWL LEVEL. NOW WE REPLACED HIM WITH LILJA WHO HASN’T CUT IT THIS YEAR SADLY. WE TRADED TONY GONZALEZ FOR MATT CASSEL. WE DON’T PAY PLAYERS THAT EARN IT. WE DON’T GO AFTER KEY FA THAT COULD SOLIDIFY SPOTS OF DESPERATION ON A TEAM WITH ZERO DEPTH. WE HAVE NO DEPTH BECAUSE WE ARE CHEAP. YOU ARE IGNORANT IF YOU THINK THE STEELERS ARE “CHEAP”. THEIR PLAYER SALARIES WERE 116 MILLION COMPARED TO THE CHIEFS AT 74.7 MILLION. THE STEELERS KEEP GUYS AROUND LIKE JAMES HARRISON (before turning into a huge roided out thug) AND TROY POLAMALU AND BEN ROETHLISBERGER (who they drafted like a franchise QB or something) RYAN CLARK, CASEY HAMPTON (a NT for a 3-4 defense) BRETT KEISEL, SMITH, TIMMONS, FOOTE, IKE TAYLOR…. THEY ALSO BUILD THEIR TEAM FOR DEPTH. AFTER THEY SIGN THEIR GUYS THEY DRAFT TO REPLACE PROJECTED LOSES IN ADVANCE WHERE AS WE HAVE HAD ZERO DEPTH BEHIND OUR TALENT WHICH MEANS WITH INJURY OR CONTRACT DISPUTES WE ARE UP A CREEK. WE HAVE ZERO LEVERAGE IN NEGOTIATIONS. WE CAN’T REPLACE PLAYERS AND NO ONE WANTS TO COME HERE AS A FA BECAUSE WE A) WONT PAY AND B) DON’T WIN.
DO YOU GET THE POINT OR DO I NEED TO CONTINUE IN CAPS LIKE A FOOL?
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
agree with your points though Pioli has to date re-signed valued pieces of this team
whether his own or Herm/Dick guys
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
i know
He has done a good job. Hunt however isn’t off the hook. All the guys that have resigned have signed well under market value prior to the end of their contracts. The exception being Tamba Hali. I’m not nearly the Pioli hater than I am a cheap owner that doesn’t want to invest enough to actually win consistently.
xhornetsx - January 5, 2012
GIVE IT TIME
I WAS DRUNK AND DIDNT REALIZE I WAS IN CAPS SOORY DUDE , DRUNK AGAIN SO IM IN CAPS PEACE LOVE AND HAPPINESS LOL MY BROTHER! LOVE THE HATE.ALSO THIS IS ONLY THE 3RD YEAR LET THEM BUILD SOME DEPTH! DIDNT MEAN TO STRIKE A NERVE? LOVE YA CHIEFS -NATION !

Bowe is core to the offense
How many teams run around trying to get two strong corners? All of them. People pay stupid money to do it. We already have two here. Let’s get the loose one tightened up.
And, let’s get the “loose end” tightened up too.

I don't trust Scott Pioli period. He hasn't done anything in 3 years that tells me he is trustworthy or that he will not let one of these guys walk. gn

You mean except re-sign all the other core guys whose contracts came up?
Tarkus - January 5, 2012
Rational statement right there
KCinIL - January 5, 2012
Cant help but feel giddy on the prospect on next year,
if Pioli can work his magic and keep Carr and Bowe ill be estatic. That and if we do get a good HC, OC, and Crennel as DC it will be great. The emergence of the Defense, Moeaki/Berry/Charles returning to form, and some draft picks could get us back on taking AFC west title again. Add some O-line upgrades, another TE/DE/ILB/S for depth then we got a contending team on our hands. Yep cant wait for next season people :D
LAChief97 - January 5, 2012
I can't either
though the wait is going to kill me
Like a damn soap opera
Steve_Chiefs - January 5, 2012
If it does kill you Steve
Can I haz your car? I put a hole in my oil pan on new years (:

IT...
would sure be nice IF he went out and got a few players who could play right away and STOP trying to draft and develop! MOST of the better players on this team are carry overs from Peterson: Tamba Hali, Dwayne Bowe, Jamaal Charles, Brandon Flowers, Brandon Carr and Derrick Johnson! I SAY…he gets an ultimatum PUBLICLY that if we don’t WIN a playoff game next season, his butt is FIRED! He seems to be getting comfy! I guess some of us are not patient OR we are afraid that we will be here in 20 years waiting for Pioli to deliver like we did with Peterson!

I Tell Ya what's the SIGN to FIRE his arse
If he renegotiates with #7 and extends the contract OR
if after 2013, he picks up the option for 2014
A fan (of italian heritage) of the KC chiefs will put a contract out for him.

Best receiver since Otis Taylor???
I think not. I would like to remind you of a certain Robb Thomas, who on my highly touted, triple checked simulations on Super Tecmo Bowl REGULARLY puts up 2000 yard seasons due to the play action pass. I defy ANY of you to go against hard facts!
No seriously, if we get rid of Dwayne Bow and/or Brandon Carr I’m cheering for someone else next season. Not even because of those 2 guys, but because this means Pioli/ Hunt/ Crennel or whoever doesn’t give a crap about this team.
