I’m a little concerened about this game. The Lions aren’t a great matchup for us. Our secondary has given up a ton of big plays, and the lions have a really good pass rush to get after Brees
It comes on TBS now. So I work nights and was sleeping during the day, half asleep just caught the phrase “what does friends with benifits mean? Does he provide her with health insurance?” And no joke busted out laughing mid sleep. Got hooked every sense
We’re talking about the offense the Saints are running. The niners didn’t have that. They also had a beast of a defense that mattered as much as their offense
He never established possession. You have to establish possession all the way to the ground. He did not. It was an easy call, as the announcers and the officials said.
Uhhhhhh...dunno where I see him going. I'm not a draftnik.
But the dude is shifty. I think he’s got a career as a 3rd down back. I think his production could be Reggie Bush-ish. Not the expectations for Bush, but his actual production in the league.
But not for THIS team. Barry hurts us waaaay too much. RT should clean up pass protection a bit, and like Tarkus pointed out: Hudson should help Lilja look better this next year.
Flynn threw for 6 TD’s. That means he’s the best QB ever and if the Packers are stupid enough to stick with Rodgers and let him go, Pioli should sign him immediately or he should be fired.
the elephant in the room in the AFC is the Patriots not beating a single team with a winning record this year. I have no clue who goes the SB from that side. I’m confident it will be the Saints or Packers from the NFC.
I call upset alert
Lions 44
Saints 41
In an OT thriller!
Rationally i believe the Saints come in and blow them out, however.
Coady - January 7, 2012
I have to be honest
I’m a little concerened about this game. The Lions aren’t a great matchup for us. Our secondary has given up a ton of big plays, and the lions have a really good pass rush to get after Brees

Picking the Saints.
Rooting for the Saints.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
picked the Saints, almost went with Lions ... I think this is gonna be a high scoring game, either way
might depend on how much self-control Suh has … stupid penalties kill that team
upamtn - January 7, 2012
yeah your picking the saints because the lions ran the score up on the chiefs
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
no, I picked the Saints becaue I think they'll win ... at home ... with the more experienced team, and QB
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Saints!

KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Hey J-man
Both our coaching staffs need to pay attention this game, this is what a real QB looks like.
CPT.Caveman - January 7, 2012
i heard cassel doing film study on this game
let matt study please
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
The whole league could take notes
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
fuck ,our secondary cant cover
this is going to be a long game
saints_chiefsfan1979 - January 7, 2012
Don't expect any secondary to cover
you may get your heart broken
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
there will be a bunch of sabby's out there in the secondary for both teams
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
I want DET but I picked NO in the league I'm in
KC_Chiefs92 - January 7, 2012

upamtn - January 7, 2012
Go Lions.
I gotta see another Schwartz/Harbaugh post game hand shake encounter.
Idahochief - January 7, 2012
Doesn't that only happen if they both make the nfc championship game?
KC_Chiefs92 - January 7, 2012
Gregg Williams
looks like he’s about to punch someone in the face
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012

niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
u can't rush 3 and win saints
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Well they punted
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Nice downfield blocking by the WR's
bh13 - January 7, 2012
that looked like TJ running
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
a clinic on how to play offense
not just passing, not just running … but everything wrapped up in one
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Hey fellas....
Woooa…great shot of downtown N.O. there…
TheK-man - January 7, 2012
and it's beautiful
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
it is....looks like downtown is recovering nicely from katrina
TheK-man - January 7, 2012
woops...sorry LC...you were talking about the clinic...:)
TheK-man - January 7, 2012
Would be nice to have that QB and line
bh13 - January 7, 2012
muir teaching the clinic
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Will we ever have a Drew Brees type of team in KC?
Isn’t Pioli supposed to bring that to us?
Coady - January 7, 2012
We basically had the offense with Vermeil
bh13 - January 7, 2012
Sean Payton/Drew Brees combo
Once in a lifetime kinda deal.
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Kind of like Aaron Rodgers/Mike McCarthy
Coady - January 7, 2012
I wouldn't put them in their category just yet
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Brett Favre/Mike Holmgren
Coady - January 7, 2012
No
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Yeah that was a little bit much
Coady - January 7, 2012
Walsh/Montana
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
Ha ok
They did not put up video game numbers
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
I'll take 4 rings
over video game numbers any day
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
Who wouldn't?
We’re talking about the offense the Saints are running. The niners didn’t have that. They also had a beast of a defense that mattered as much as their offense
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Yes..............
I miss Vermeil’s offense and I hated it when Herm said you couldn’t win championships with that type of offense
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
With all due respect
F$C% Herm Edwards
Coady - January 7, 2012
I just thought it tasteless............
since he played for Vermeil
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
In fairness.
That offense only made the playoffs once in five years.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Doesn't make me hate Herm Edwards any less, regardless lol
Coady - January 7, 2012
true...........
but it was fun to watch
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Except in the playoffs
/tear
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
river of tears,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
actually
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Rivers of tears.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
That is hideous............
but I rec’d it anyway
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Need to spread out yer tan baby...
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I like Herm's commentary....just not his coaching.
TheK-man - January 7, 2012
Megatron
Is ELITE.
Coady - January 7, 2012
bowe for megatron deal
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
wup wup ....TD
TheK-man - January 7, 2012
u can't rush 3 in the nfl
all day to throw
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
So this is what offense looks like...
bakerlee - January 7, 2012
I know right
I’m clapping my ass off for 1rst downs and moving chains
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
7 points.
Right up the Chiefs’ alley.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
unfortunately
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
yeah they took a couple of pages out of muir book
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Any ideas who the Chiefs' OC will be?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Herm Edwards
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Scary................................
could be similar to Muirs
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
I promise not to call the delayed shotgun draw more than once a game.
Hire me.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
as long as Charles
is running it then I wouldn’t mind ;)
Chiefsfan85 - January 7, 2012
who runs up the gut then
mccluster
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Deal
only if you promise not to run McCluster up a lineman’s ass constantly
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
Deal.
This is easy. =)
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
need that button
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
-
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Are you trying to blind me?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Most women think Brad Pitt is hot.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Angelina can keep him..................
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Her 27 children need a father.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
True............
I wouldn’t want them to be homeless
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
It would almost be worth it.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
True............
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
She has really great high-speed internet.
DSLExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
That is so rec'd!
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
I can’t speak for her bandwidth though.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
lol!
prodigy101 - January 7, 2012
Muir disagrees.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
I thought he was dead
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Nope. Only asleep for the last 17 weeks.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
I'm also young enough that the shotgun spread doesn't frighten me on 3rd and long.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
scratch mcdaniels off the list
thank god
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Should we take a look at
Greg Knapp for OC? He has done pretty well coaching qbs in Houston. If I recall correctly he was oc in Atlanta?
Eric Allen - January 7, 2012 via mobile
What I am interested to know is if Romeo is choosing the next OC or if Pioli will.
DisplacedChief - January 7, 2012
It had better be RAC. But we all have our doubts about that!
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
RAC said the next coach should pick his own staff.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
it better be RAC and hoping we look at Lombardi
Saints qb coach…I’d love to watch this kind of offense in KC. Grant it we need a flipping qb first.
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
If we get knapp does that mean we get TO
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Can't
A judge said his career is over. He’s done.
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
The ref screwed the Lions out of a defensive TD there.
Or at least some points.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Good Ol' Gunther
DisplacedChief - January 7, 2012
Chiefs Berry > Lions Berry
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
and Lions Berry > Chiefs Barry
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
To be fair, everybody's Barry > Chiefs Barry
At least in pass protection. And penalties. And boneheaded plays. So, pretty much everything outside of run blocking.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
What about bench warming?
I’d like to keep him but he can partake of some bench
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
This > Chiefs Barry
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
In fact, dingleberry > Chiefs Barry
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
Berry>Suh
That’s right!
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
I read an article about the Colts wanting to push back the date...............
they owe Peyton his bonus
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Wouldn’t that be convenient!
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
They can't, right?
I thought there was something that said they couldn’t…and why would Peyton want to at this point?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
so jealous of these offenses and qb's!!
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
And their right tackles
that don’t ole D-linemen
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
How about their entire teams.....................
hey can we switch unis?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
well i still like our d more than these two
Especially how our d started playing last half of season but I get what your saying
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
yep.............
our d is on the right track but our offense………………
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
yea our O is non existant and we need to bring in a great OC
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
It'd be sweet to see a Schwartz - Harbaugh rematch.
That’d be a game that nobody cared about who won but all eyes on the end of game handshake.
DisplacedChief - January 7, 2012
or punch
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Gotta think that it would be a great game.
That said, I’m still rooting for the Saints.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
How did the official
call that a TD? He was standing right next to the receiver in the endzone?
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
Too busy reaching for the flag for a BS personal foul call. Dumb ass refs.
DisplacedChief - January 7, 2012
weak call but would like to see a td here
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Aaaah the NBCee It Cam. How intuitive.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
I heard Nick Wright say this week
that the winner of this game is the Superbowl winner this year. He must not think much of the Packers anymore, huh?
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
More along the lines of the 49ers.
I think he’s under the impression that the Saints/Lions winner will have the best chance to beat the Pack (and therefore, the entire AFC).
Saints aren’t a bad pick, but I think the Pack can take ’em. I want to see the SF/GB matchup.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
what did whitlock say this week
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Likely something about Jeff George or Sarah Palin
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
I didn't know Jeff and Sarah were getting married!
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Shotgun wedding
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Republicans don’t get divorced, do they?
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
No.
That would ruin the sanctity of marriage.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Double barrel?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
whitlock that guys is the king of Bull shit
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
hey, Jason's my main man
upamtn - January 7, 2012
u got a jeff george jersey
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
waiting for the Chiefs to sign him up
they need a decent QB, right?
upamtn - January 7, 2012
He, Muir and RAC could play dominoes together in the offseason.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
well palko on the team so are u saying there a
chance
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Lions are 5-0 this season when leading at halftime; Saints are 1-3 this season when trailing at halftime
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
Should we even keep watching?
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
every streak has to be brake.
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
and that was indeed a TD ... he had it til he hit the ground, and the ground can not cause a fumble
upamtn - January 7, 2012
It wasn't ruled a fumble.
It was ruled an incomplete pass. And the ground can certainly cause those.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
the ground can cause an incomplete pass? really?
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Yes, really.
Did you not watch?
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
yes I did watch and it as BS call ... the ball was in the guy's hands, it crossed the plane ... across the goal line
that’s the definition of a TD
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Where was the “football move”?
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
football move?
since when do you need a football move?
upamtn - January 7, 2012
How long have you been watching football?
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
counting the first game about 5 hours
upamtn - January 7, 2012
hank stram taught him well
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Since the days of leather helmets
and single-wing offense
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
They didn't have the rule back then.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
didn't have helmets for that matter ...
upamtn - January 7, 2012
just like old school hockey
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
I know
just felt a little asshole-ish (:
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
Ups was a leather head?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
sand lot football
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
No it's not.
He never established possession. You have to establish possession all the way to the ground. He did not. It was an easy call, as the announcers and the officials said.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
I"m not sure............
he had trouble identifying Faith Hill
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
don't start!
she used to have shorter hair
upamtn - January 7, 2012
get ready to defend your crown on jeopardy ups
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Had to complete going to the ground with the ball, which he didn't.
It’s the “Megatron Rule”, and it was consistent with the way that one was called.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Even easier to call than the Megatron non-catch.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Way easier.
Megatron at least took a couple steps before flipping the ball.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
once he touched the ground it should have been TD
especially considering Megatron
upamtn - January 7, 2012
But he didn't catch it.
That doesn’t count anywhere in the field of play. He went to the ground without establishing possession and the ball came out.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
he had possession in my mind
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Unfortunately, he never had it on the field.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Ball hit the ground while he was still making the catch, in my mind.
I didn’t see clear possession at any time, and I want the Saints to win.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Same.
I wanted it to be a catch, but it clearly wasn’t. Not even a controversial call, IMO.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
and what's Kalo doing on this thread ... there's no defense here
upamtn - January 7, 2012
I came for the defense, but I'm staying for the offense.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Because it's not offensive
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
It's official
No McD in KC
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
that was offcial hours ago when the Pats announced that McD would be working with O'Brien thru the playoffs
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Will McD get a superbowl ring if they win it all?
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
Prolly since he will be on the staff
Talk about being in the right place at the right time damn….
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I really don't think that's going to come up.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
NASA considering the secretaries get SB rings
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Crap iPhone
Naaa
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I meant the Pats aren't going to win the SB.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Chiefs probably never had a chance.
Since Hoodie wanted him back.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
I don't count it official until Dungy says its so on NBC
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
So weird.
This sort of situation has never happened before, correct? I can’t think of anything even close to this.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Who's next at the OC option?
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
weis
he’s been at kansas for over a month now its time to move on
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
so if he comes here, he would be here like over a week, right?
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
10-14 days which is an eternity for weis
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
rent a weis on sundays
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Meacham just got bailed out by Henderson there.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012

Uh wow that was fast
If only we had a QB….
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Drew Brees is too short to ever do anything in the NFL, didn't you know?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Oh ya sorry
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
oh that's right
prolly why they got Chase Daniel as backup
upamtn - January 7, 2012
scary...........
that is what I was thinking
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Heh.
Yeah, this. If anybody in the NFL doesn’t give a shit about QB height, it’s NO.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
like that kid Kellen Moore......
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
Hmmm MAYBE Kellen Moore is like that...
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I'm not saying that, necessarily.
Just saying that these size absolutes need to be reassessed.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I agree but
I do see it being naturally easier if you’re taller since the DE are huge now
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I'm not saying it doesn't help.
But guys plummet because of it too often, and not just at the QB position.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
What about LaMichael James?
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
What about him? Too short?
Darren Sproles led the NFL in all-purpose yards this year.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Where do you see him going?
And do you think he’ll be a good NFL player?
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Uhhhhhh...dunno where I see him going. I'm not a draftnik.
But the dude is shifty. I think he’s got a career as a 3rd down back. I think his production could be Reggie Bush-ish. Not the expectations for Bush, but his actual production in the league.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Sounds about right.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
And nothing wrong with that.
Especially for a middle round pick…which is where he’s supposed to go, right?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
2nd or 3rd I've heard.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
A 2nd?
That might be a bit more than I’d give up for him, but I just don’t rate RB’s highly. Not enough shelf life for my liking.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Dexter McCluster.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
That.
Exactly.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
And I like James better than Dex.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
So do I.
Which is why I think 2nd is a very good possibility.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Can't really argue with that logic, when you put it that way.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
He doesn't play QB :)
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Makes sense
But 70%+ completion for Moore should be seriously considered
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Play action opened it up for them there. When we get Charles back...
it will help open up the passing game regardless of who is at QB.
DisplacedChief - January 7, 2012
Kyle Orton play action.... a beauty
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
this
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
not with cassel he will panic and throw it at linemans feet
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Yeah I'm afraid cassel has PTSD from watching broke get killed over the years
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Or Eric Weddle's
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
oh yes the memories
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
and Saints are back just. like. that.
Dingy said to let him air it out. That Dungy is a smart cat.
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
we should hire him as our OC.....
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
Yup.
And trade for Peyton.
DisplacedChief - January 7, 2012
and fire pioli and bring the polian family
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
I'm for it if manning is in on the deal
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
not a bad idea. i saw jets were thinking about
Tony Spagnulo (sp?) As OC if schotty leaves.. Is he worth a shit as an OC? Would it be worth going after him? By him I mean Spags…
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I thought spams was defensive but I dunno
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
or am i thinking sparano from the dolphins..
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Dingy knows what's goin on
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
lol mobile auto correct...gets me all the time
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Alright Lions.
Keep it close and interesting please. I’m rooting for overtime!!!
DisplacedChief - January 7, 2012
You at Buffalo Wild Wings??
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
haha
DisplacedChief - January 7, 2012
Tamba Hali didn't see a hold there.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
There a never a hold Hali rule in the NFL
Didn’t you know?
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I'm quite frustratingly aware.
Especially during the breakdowns. Gets me angry all over again.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Yeah I agree it's pretty sickening seein the chokeholds on every play
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
That is NOT a first down.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
It is now
but it really wasn’t
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
so nice to watch teams pass on 3rd and long inside own 10
And not run a draw play and punt
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
You mean you get to throw a pass on 3rd?
I thought there was a rule against that
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
there is in KC
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Oh makes perfect sense now
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Bad pass from Brees .....noooo
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Nick Fairley was closer than he should have been to that official.
He was throwing a fit and about stormed into the side judge running towards the pile.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Starting to lose their cool
Has Suh’s name even been called?
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Someone slammed him to the ground earlier.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Nice!
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
I love Failey flexing his muscles
And then Brees pickin up the first. Fuckin moron
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
fairley is a moron
Bout as dumb as Suh
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Or the 40 yd pass and subsequent TD
Like they were playing a HS team
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
wow what a throw
saints_chiefsfan1979 - January 7, 2012
had nothing to do with the throw, it was the move by Graham
upamtn - January 7, 2012
No doubt.
Dropped it right in to Colston, and great quick slant to Graham.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
the Colston throw was a thing of beauty
upamtn - January 7, 2012
this
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
just like cassel does
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Ha
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
where gunther at
get your camera out a melt down is coming
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
And his players will follow his lead.
Bunch of thugs, which is why I can’t root for them.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
doesn't the head coach have a similar attitude?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Wasn't too long ago where we had a nasty d due to him
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
The head coach?
Gunther hasn’t coached a nasty D in KC since DT and Neil Smith. That was quite some time ago.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Maybe.
He had that thing with Harbaugh earlier.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
only when other coaches celebrate a big win
He seems to not take that well..
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
So he should do something to stop them.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Yup.
I like Megatron, and I like Stafford. Outside of that, I see a lot of thuggish behavior.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I like Pettigrew
bh13 - January 7, 2012
I've seen him do a lot of shoving.
And didn’t he throw a punch the last time these guys played?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I don't know
I haven’t really followed anyone but the Chiefs much this year. I just liked him coming out in the draft.
bh13 - January 7, 2012
Oh, Jimmy.
Half that spin was on the ground. That was a 270 degree dunk.
/not serious
//still impressive in pads
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
give the man his due, Kalo ...
like you could do that ;-)
upamtn - January 7, 2012
I'm only an inch shorter.
And a former high jumper.
But yeah, I couldn’t do that anymore. Especially in pads. =)
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
only ups has got ups
or as some would say u couldn’t slip a credit card under his feet.
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Oh credit card I was thinking a piece of paper :)
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
stone tablet?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Too high....:)
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Huge brees fan here
So glad chargers didn’t keep him, since he was too short.
Bilk - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Yeah and his bum shoulder
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
And big contract.
And they had another elite QB waiting in the wings.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Who's next at the OC option?
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
Hoping for philbin
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
But he won't come
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
as an OC
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
he wont lateral to kc
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Who's the lions OC?
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
linehan..ex rams coach
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
al saunders
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
The one guy older than Bill Muir.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
lol i wasnt serious but he can atleast stay awake
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
A better question might be
Who would crenelated want as OC? Does he prefer a particular style?
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
Sorry Crennel
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
Carthon was OC with him at cleveland
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
And fired by him.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
id hope hes not promoted to OC
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Agreed.
I doubt if Crennel would follow down the same path that led to his dismissal from Cleveland.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
id like to think crennel wants a more pass happy offense
Like were seeing tonight to get our playmakers the ball. Will definitely help open up things for JC. Kinda like the Saints are doing.
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I hope so...........
the thought of carthon scares me
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Does he run the offense we run?
Dumb question probably but can’t remember.
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
hopefully not cuz we dont have an offense right now :)
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
we have anemia.
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
anyone who can draw up plays to put ball in endzone
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Isn't that called a touchdown?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
if my memory serves me right..yes it is
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
What is this Touché Down
Is it French?
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
tonight it is cajun
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Oh la la mon ami
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
It's that thing where you throw a Hail Mary, the defender bats it down, and you catch it instead.
Pretty sure about that.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
It could also be a punt by Colquitt
He just said put the ball in the end zone.
bh13 - January 7, 2012
Megatron doesn't give a *@ about triple coverage.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I realize DNowe is a poor mans megaton
Damn megaton catches balls
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
iPhone blows
DBowe and megatron
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
That ball hung forever.
About a yard shy of being a perfect drop in for a TD.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Megaton is amazing
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Matthew Stafford is doing his best Greg Jennings impression.
“I put da team on my back”
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I gotta eamil you, Kalo ... you and Bewsaf both with "draftnik" type OLine question
upamtn - January 7, 2012
I know *thismuch* about the draft.
And very little about OL.
But I’ll try to help. =)
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
just think in terms of what the OLine can or can't do to the DLine
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Our DL? Or in general?
Cause if it’s ours, just pull the RT and run over the weakside. ;-)
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
in general ...
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Just giving you a hard time.
You send it yet?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
in a bit
gotta write it first :D
upamtn - January 7, 2012
looked like back knee was down before ball hit pylon
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Looked like a same-time, to me
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
tie goes to the runner?
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Yup.
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
Ball crossed before his knee hit.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
There's a reason the Lions don't have a power running game Collinsworth
They throw the ball to Megatron for 5000 yds. You have been watching the Chiefs too much
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
like the Chiefs have apower running game?
upamtn - January 7, 2012
They will with DeCastro
;)
bh13 - January 7, 2012
so I'm hoping
upamtn - January 7, 2012
I'm with you on that
He’s my early favorite for the pick.
bh13 - January 7, 2012
A guard, eh?
I’m throwing the checkbook at Nicks if the Saints have to let him go and scooping up the RT in the draft.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
rather throw him Clark Hunt's checkbook
upamtn - January 7, 2012
You don't think he'd work for $1.73 this season? ;-)
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I'd love Nicks too
As long as the O-line gets addressed this season.
bh13 - January 7, 2012
Yup.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Yeah that would mean we could punch it in from 1 yd put
Ok I guess not
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
okoye coming back
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Oh hell I would hope so
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Not indisputable I guess
powercat12 - January 7, 2012
I thought it was an easy call for a TD.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
It was too close to call
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I disagree.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
I thought the knee hit the same time the ball hit the pylon
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
The ball crossed the front of the line
before it hit the pylon.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Game was closer than I thought it would be to be honest
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
figured it would be higher scoring ... but still about like this
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Lions putting up one hell of a fight
figured Saints would be rolling. How quickly I forgot last season…
powercat12 - January 7, 2012
Well last yr Seattle beat the saints
They could turn into this decades version of the chiefs
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Need Either Megatron/Sproles/Brees to score another TD,
for my fantasy playoff challenge team. Other than that, this is a hell of a great game to watch!!!
LAChief97 - January 7, 2012
Brees has all day to look around
bh13 - January 7, 2012
Please don't say the Chiefs hold that record for losing the most playoff games in a row...
powercat12 - January 7, 2012
Nah, shouldn't be.
What is it sitting at right now? 4?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
7
KC_Chiefs92 - January 7, 2012
My bad 6 straight
KC_Chiefs92 - January 7, 2012
Yup, just saw that, too.
I must have lost a couple of those years through drinking.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I was 1 the last time we won a playoff game
KC_Chiefs92 - January 7, 2012
Never mind the thing I was ready confused me 7 straight
KC_Chiefs92 - January 7, 2012
Oh, right, yeah.
Was discounting ’93 because we won one then. Neglected to count the next game as a loss.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
6/7 what's the difference
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
The lions are going to tie us woooooooooooooooo
KC_Chiefs92 - January 7, 2012
Hoping this one goes down to the wire
Entertainment at work.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
haven't won a playoff game since montana
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Oh hell that's shitty
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
more than
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
True... If we could make a FG it would be better
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Pierre Thomas has broken a shitload of tackles today.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
He's putting on a show
bh13 - January 7, 2012
S'what he does.
They’ve a better rushing trio now than when they had Thomas, Bell, and Bush
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
And they go four deep with Ingram and Ivory.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Yup, they've the best stable of backs in the league. Easy.
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
Saints haven't punted all night
Sounds familiar.
bh13 - January 7, 2012
Eehhhh yeah it does
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
damn
3/3 on 4th downs tonight.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
double damn
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Gotta make that INT
that’s why Eric Berry > Aaron Berry
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
Can't wait for EBs return
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
It's pretty amazing. Chiefs seriously have the best fans.
Other fan bases would have long given up after not winning a playoff game in 10+ years
powercat12 - January 7, 2012
We're sadistic we like pain that's all
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Redskins are on the same level
Think they’re winning the SB every year
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
Good thing we didn't bid on Sproles wow he sucks huh
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Who said that?
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
And now the Saints start to put them away
bh13 - January 7, 2012
That is to very definition of a "scat-back" right there.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
sproles is rediculous
So quick
jcrunninwild - January 7, 2012 via mobile
turn out the lights, the party's (almost) over ...
upamtn - January 7, 2012
u kiddin? its new orleans
party’s never over
TamBa 91 - January 7, 2012
Damn I have to finish my drink not yet haha
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
what did they turn the lights on at the bar
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Still early.
For this game.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Goddamn Sproles just burns defenses down!!
Wish KC got him before the Saints did. Imagine JC/Sproles/MC as our RBs!!!
LAChief97 - January 7, 2012
What a nightmare 3rd and 1 would be.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Still.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
It's a good thing we didn't sign a high priced FB in free agency.
Oh wait…
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Especially one who also serves as a power back.
Oh wait…
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Mind-numbing.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
What offense is this?
Does NO run the EP offense like we do? Or is it west coast or something else?
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
Do we run an offense?
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
In theory
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
Must be applied mathematics since it doesn't make a hill of beans of sense to me
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Draw, RB screen, Delayed Draw, WR Slant.
Am I missing anything?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Ok I get it. Wow
We really suck
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
I'm being overdramatic, of course.
Just feels so damn vanilla.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Haley is an offensive genius.
Haven’t you heard?
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Most team in the nfl run the EP right?
If that is the case, wow. We need to get right quick.
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
For the most part, yes.
Couple exceptions (Denver, usually NO, etc) but yeah mostly.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
mail on da way
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Oh the chiefs
Yes we do
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
wr bubble screen and hail mary
other than that, you got it all
TamBa 91 - January 7, 2012
and dont forget the iso with a 165 lb back
TamBa 91 - January 7, 2012
Hitch, TE seam (with Colston)...
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
Or Graham..
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
Ah, talking Chiefs, here..
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
Well, Sean Payton DID coach under Parcells...
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
It's called the get the $&@"ball in the end zone O
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Aaaand that'll do it.
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
Game Over
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
Uh-oh.
Brees can ice this.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I haven't really watched the Lions much
is their defense really as bad as New Orleans and Green Bay make them look?
tidnes2ko - January 7, 2012
they looked good against the chiefs
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
Everyone looks good vs them
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Except the Packers.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
True that was an amazing win there
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
That’s when the mayor of RAC city was elected.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
They ave a few holes but they are actually solid IMO
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Their secondary seems to be a bit lacking today.
tidnes2ko - January 7, 2012
That was an exclamation point to your statement.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
stafford needs to lose fat ans gain arm muscle
always under throwing
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
That last pass his arm was held
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
he had let it go before though
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
plus he is still chubby
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
Hahaha
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
what the hell happened
turned away for one second and Saints are up 17
powercat12 - January 7, 2012
wide open wr
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
My goodness!!!!
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
That was one hell of a pump fake
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
Someone decided to bust coverage
His Royal Greatness - January 7, 2012
stick a fork in 'em ... they're DONE
upamtn - January 7, 2012
And Brees does it again.......
LAChief97 - January 7, 2012
Wow a QB that sees the open player what's that???
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Cassel would have been criticized for underthrowing it.
Even if he made the same exact throw.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Exactly but I'd be shocked if he made it
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
Did that dude have red eyes?
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
He did.
Wasn’t that Vandenbosch?
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012

Hell no.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
No he did ok the last time he was here
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
No he didn't.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Nice.
Gives him something else to whine about.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Lions only had the 23rd rated defense based on yardage and point allowed per game
wildly overrated
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
Kalo ... you've got mail :-)
upamtn - January 7, 2012
I'll hook you up with a more detailed response, but my answer is going to be a "Both" solution.
=)
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
cheat!
what, you practicing for politics?
either / or … no fence sitting! :-)
upamtn - January 7, 2012
What if one is in FA and one is in the draft?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
nope ... gimme an either / or answer
is interior as a whole more important … or not? (that’s ONE reason I want DeCastro)
upamtn - January 7, 2012
If it comes to that?
Lilja @ LG > Barry @ RT, in my opinion. But I’d say interior is more important generally. So I’d go RT with this team.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I think Lilja will look better with Hudson next to him.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
That's a fair point, as well.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
wait, you said interior is MORE important
then DeCastro at LG should be the choice
upamtn - January 7, 2012
More important GENERALLY.
But not for THIS team. Barry hurts us waaaay too much. RT should clean up pass protection a bit, and like Tarkus pointed out: Hudson should help Lilja look better this next year.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
that Brees fella, he's almost as good as Matt Flynn!
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Pft!
Let’s not get carried away.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
I qualified it with "almost"
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Now you're just talking crazy
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
I know, huh
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Oh gawd
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
They are both system QB'sExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
then I want this offensive system!!!1
TamBa 91 - January 7, 2012
Well you know the chiefs won't
There all about run, run, pass, punt O
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
I don't know
Flynn threw for 6 TD’s. That means he’s the best QB ever and if the Packers are stupid enough to stick with Rodgers and let him go, Pioli should sign him immediately or he should be fired.
bh13 - January 7, 2012
Somewhere in this nation, Barry Sanders is internally jumping for joy.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
his son is going to Stanford
gonna run wild in the Pac-12
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
that is a smart choice good education
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
yeah, not a bad move
some surprising commits the last couple days. California has a monster recruiting class coming in.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
Yep.........
he was their whole team for years
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
He was my favorite player growin’ up.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
He was a lot of fun to watch
bh13 - January 7, 2012
He was no Emmit Smith.
In that I liked him.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
exactly.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
Yeah running what's that
Just pass it to Megatron that’s different
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
megatron is ba
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
112 points recieved already!! Need another td to pass the wildcard round,
and best thing is, still got one WR slot unused, a kicker, and a defense open slot. :D Nice!!!! Victor Cruz better come up big!!! XD
LAChief97 - January 7, 2012
Your still in fantasy football?
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
probally playoff fantasy
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
^Yep, but i was to late to get the regular season fantasy league.
Friend showed how it was done, ever since ive been hooked.
LAChief97 - January 7, 2012
I know but most ended on the end of the reg season
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
ok, that was Megatron CLASS!!!!!
score and hand the ball to the ref … no dancing, no celebrations, class, respect … act like you’ve been there before
ALL players should be like that ALL the time
the Marcus Allen Rule
upamtn - January 7, 2012
And Barry
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Also the Barry Sanders rule.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
He looks classy in that Acura commercial too!
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Being down by 17 might have had something to do with it.
Or not, I’m not sure if he does that all the time or not.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
maybe
but I’ve seen players down by more who did stupid celebrations for less
upamtn - January 7, 2012
True dat.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Truth.
And I hate it when it happens.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
The Santonio Holmes rule
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
And Barry Sanders.
But, to be fair, there’s no reason to celebrate there. They’re down big.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Terrible onside kick
But still better than Succop’s :)
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
better than this one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMzF-fBiOw4
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
LOL, that was horrible
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
HAHA
Game, blouses!
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Brees is putting on a clinic
bh13 - January 7, 2012
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my!
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Absolutely disgusting what Brees is doing to these safeties
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
They have safeties?
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
Heh right...
May as well just blitz them.
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
If I remember Gunther built his rep on blitzing a lot
Maybe it’s me but has that never really worked?
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
At least has it worked in kc or Det?
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
When he had DT and NS.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
I wonder if the time that QBs take is shorter now.
Might have made his defenses obsolete
Be_The_Ball - January 7, 2012
He had great DBs too.
Just a great defense in general. Easy to dictate to the other team when you have that kind of talent.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
Think the Lions will pick up some CB's in the offseason??
jeebus
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
DB’s, that is.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
And some DL =)
Seems like the one they got ain’t cutting it!
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
My god.
49ers have to stop this? Good luck, San Fran.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
saints have to play outside
9ers can slow the game down with their run game. should be good.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
Yeah, but outside in Cali?
May as well be indoors
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
true
should be around 55 at kickoff next week. grass instead of turf. will throw their game off a little possibly.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
Good point.
But Brees is playing so much better than everyone right now. Hard to think this offense doesn’t click, even if they’re hampered a bit.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
yeah, i'm favoring the saints
they just look damn good. i’d say packers-saints are 1 and 1A right now. the niners just seem like a tough team.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
Niners take the AFC, if they're over there, in my opinion.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
i'd probably agree
the elephant in the room in the AFC is the Patriots not beating a single team with a winning record this year. I have no clue who goes the SB from that side. I’m confident it will be the Saints or Packers from the NFC.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
I'd say Baltimore, but I don't trust Flacco.
So by default, I think it’s Brady and the Pats.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
First year ever
that nobody from a conference qualifies. The NFC wins the Super Bowl by default.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
this could happen
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Yup.
NO, GB, and SF automatically go to the final four. AFC plays to get into the final four. =)
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
i dont trust flacco
but i’m leaning baltimore over steelers in the afc title game.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
Could be.
Shoot, any of those teams could come out of there. Houston?
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Don't sleep on the Steelers.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
boring team, always put me to sleep
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Ben's injuries leave me questioning them a bit.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Supposedly he's getting better, though.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
yeah, i have a feeling it will be them
but it can’t be them, it just can’t be.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
i don't want the patriots either
texans or ravens i could live with.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
They won't be running much if the Saints get up big
bh13 - January 7, 2012
And with no really good receivers
Shit, I think they stomp the Niners too
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
49ers have a good defense too.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
They won't be running this lousy ass Cover-2, I reckon..
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
Oh, and they can actually play ball control
ArrowSpread - January 7, 2012
I get that.
But this Saints offense is scoring too damn quick right now. Ball control may not be enough. They’ve got to put up some serious points on top of that.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
this is a bad lions defense though
9ers are built around their defense.
BeauJackson - January 7, 2012
Spread em out
Becomes very difficult for a D even like the Niners.
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
It'll be much closer, yes.
This thing is a juggernaut, though.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Woah now
Slow ya roll, it is most of their teams first time in the show.
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Weird
Meant to reply that to your take the AFC comment. Don’t know what happened lol
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Oh yeah, they're (SF) inexperienced.
But they’re solid and consistent. I don’t see consistency in any of the teams in the AFC playoffs right now. They all have giant weak spots.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
Saints can do the ball control too ... to a degree
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Schwartz is going to take out Sean Peyton's good knee after the game
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
LOL
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Quick, get Tonya Harding on the horn

niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
I'd say he better have a contingency plan
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
His contengency
is bitching about everyone in the media, saying they aren’t qualified to criticize him.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
and flipping of fans
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
Tark – I’m vacationing in Vegas this spring. I need some tips. 2nd time for me, my wife’s first time in Vegas. mid-20’s in age, balling on a budget.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
Toss me some email.
I’m not a big touristy guy, but I can probably help you out a little.
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
This teams winning the Superbowl
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Stafford's INT was the final nail.
This has actually been a really good game. Rooting for the Saints all the way.
jhoward8780 - January 7, 2012
You think Gunthard will be around in Lions organization?
His defense has been getting torched
LAChief97 - January 7, 2012
616 yds of O boy that sucks ass
The chiefs do that all the time
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
They do
Just takes them about 6 games.
bh13 - January 7, 2012
Haha +1
That is true
Ren - January 7, 2012 via mobile
more than that................
especially if seven is their magic number
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
isn’t 7 a biblical number?
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
I think it's Cassel's number
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
So it is then?
Tarkus - January 7, 2012
that depends on how he plays on sunday
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
now its completly done
PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
Game over.
A lot better game than I thought it would be.
jhoward8780 - January 7, 2012
Collinsworth thinks “Matthew Stanford” had a great year
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012
He has a great legacy with the school and all

Berry might be collecting unemployment soon.
ExRoyalsFan - January 7, 2012

PSUkegreen - January 7, 2012
I love it
Drop 50 on these fucks
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
Lions defense making a lot of penalties, reminds me of the Raiders when they lose.....
LAChief97 - January 7, 2012
how about gunther he might get canned
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
Hell No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
yeah i know but he might get fired
niageriannit1 - January 7, 2012
With good reason
KCinIL - January 7, 2012
For us?
No, no, and hell no.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
absolutely not!!!
LAChief97 - January 7, 2012
ok, what I really want is ... DeCastro, Nicks and Dwayne Allen (TE)
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Wait, both DeCastro and Nicks?
That’s one guard too many for me. Give me Nicks and Martin/Reiff.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
thought Nicks was T
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Nicks is one of the best guards in the game right now.
He just dominated Suh and Fairley all game. I want the surefire guy, especially when the OT crop in FA is weak this year.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
I was close
how old is he? like 26ish? doubt Saints let him go, but if so … oh HAYL yeah
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Yeah, he's young.
They’ve gotta pay Brees and Colston this offseason, and they just paid their other Guard big money last year.
There’s a chance.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
gotta figure they'll find the money
Brees might pull a Manning just to keep the guy
upamtn - January 7, 2012
Very possible.
KaloPhoenix - January 7, 2012
LG for the Saints
Played tackle in college if memory serves.
bh13 - January 7, 2012
fine, DeCastro and some RT and Allen
upamtn - January 7, 2012
for Draftmas?
LadyChief - January 7, 2012
yesh

and a hippopotamus
upamtn - January 7, 2012
I saw that movie
It was fuckin terrible.
KCinIL - January 7, 2012

LadyChief - January 7, 2012
If he brings stafford, megatron, and scott linehan
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
.... maybe......
kaiser1118 - January 7, 2012
2 for 2 ... NOW do I get a cookie? ;)
