NFL Playoffs Schedule: Ravens Host Texans In AFC Divisional Round

The Houston Texans beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Saturday's AFC Wild Card game which means they're moving onto the Divisional round of the playoffs to face the Baltimore Ravens. The game will take place and Baltimore will be favored to win.

The teams will meet at 1:00 p.m. next Sunday but let's make an early prediction.

I gotta roll with the Ravens in this one. They're a Super Bowl-caliber team and I think the Texans are a step behind them. The Ravens defense is, as usual, elite and the offense is improving as well. They have a lot of weapons in place that will make them dangerous. I think the Ravens defense ultimately shuts down Arian Foster and the Texans turn into one-dimensional team.

The Ravens already beat the Texans once this year, 29-14. And that was with their starting quarterback, Matt Schaub.

The Ravens haven't lost at home this year and I don't think that starts now. Joe Flacco keeps winning playoff games and the Ravens advance to the AFC Championship game.

Gotta go Ravens here
Ravens is my first thought ... gimme the week and I'll pick

I was one of few to pick the Texans and they didn’t let me down :-)

that’s a hellacious defense for Houston, and a very legit playoff team there …

Ray and Suggs should have the Ravens ready to play lights out

Houston can not get it done with Yates IMO

Ups we are undefeated after two games

lets finish the sweep today!

Texans +7.5 is like stealing money

I picked the Ravens preseason to go to the SB. But Houston had that look yesterday of a team we see every year that is young and hungry. They are fast on both sides of the ball and I think they can win. If they were playing the Patriots id love Houston more

Foster led my fantasy team to victory last night, won about $30. I’m playing fantasy here, it’s an awesome site: http://bit.ly/yyJ2ig

It’ll be a tough matchup for the Texans next week, should be a good show of two great defenses.

These 2 teams give me some hope for the Chiefs.

It seems that with all of the focus on record setting QB’s, and teams winning with vtrually no defenses, it stiil shows that a dominate defense and runnig game can still take a teak a long ways. Our team is presently built with those factors in mind, and winning without an elite Qb, but still one that, if he has the support of a running game, is capable of utilizing the pass game effectively.

Look at the difference between Cassel’s play this season, and last. Cassel had a 93 Passer rating last season, and has more weapons now, than he has had , maybe in his whole career, as far as WR’s. If he can just display more consistency, and have an offense friendly to him, he can be effective, until we actually find, or develop, our supposed QB of the future. I think Pioli will stick with Cassel, but I’ll bet he has a capable backup this season, either in Stanzi or someone else. Tyler Palko was not only the undoing of the Chief’s hopes, but also the major factor in Haley geting canned, in my opinion.
