Well, that was amazing. Wasn't it?

The Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow have defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers on the first play of overtime to advance to the divisional round of the 2012 AFC playoffs. They will face the New England Patriots.

Here is the rest of the NFL playoffs schedule for next weekend (times are ET):

Saturday, January 14

Sunday, January 15

The Patriots worked over the Broncos last time they played. Next week, the Tebow fairy tale ends. Check out Mile High Report for Broncos fans reactions to Denver's improbable win.

Pittsburgh played like hot garbage.

But give the man his due….Tebow won despite having no running game, a ho hum defense and Decker getting hurt.

McHoodie’s picks vindicated yet?

True

and

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

at one point

5 of 11 for 185 yards

WTF

here's a scarier stat

10 for 21, 316 yards, that’s 31.6 yards per completion

Yikes

and without Decker

We need another Cover safety

MEMO to Pioli

No. It tells us we NEED RAC FO SURE

Cuz he had a DEF that stopped Tebow.

We lost one to poor safety play

we need a better Safety for depth

Mark Barron anyone?

and how about we pick up Manning while we are at it…I have a hunch it wont cost us a pick.

OH MY TEBOW!

How in the hell…there is NO possible way Pittsburgh loses this game if the Defense is healthy and/or Rapelisberger isnt on a bum ankle. However, im still in shock.

Did any of you remember how exciting it is going to be next year when Eric Berry is picking off Tebow!

how do you remember something and occurs in the future?
Might Tebow be elite if he wins another round vs Brady?
nah we'll just say it was the pats horrible D and brady was off
Elite?

He should work on getting up to being an average NFL QB. He’s still terrible, one game doesn’t change that.

A Super Bowl win around here equals elite

I wonder if Matt Ryan is a boob again after 3 straight playoff losses

I felt sorry for T Gonz

Would really like to see him get at least 1 playoff win enroute to HOF.

He did re-sign with the Falcons

We would have taken him back in a heartbeat

In either case

He would still not have a playoff win

People say that, but I find myself cheering against him -

Just because he did leave KC.

Is that bad?

Meh

T Gonz is such a ‘me first’ guy. I could care less if he ever wins a playoff game.

steelers were beaten up before they got started

If the steelers were healthy, this wouldnt of happened period.tebow magic comes to a hault next week.broncos suck,

Why do you say that

The Broncos have beaten better teams with what ever you call this Offense

O/T

Gotta think we’ve seen the last of Hines Ward.

he can come to the chiefs
pass
I was going to say that taking the ball 1st in this style OT was stupid

much better odds to stop them with good field position.

I guess John Fox Fricken Knew better

Like Michael Irvin said

It was a slant. Good play yes. But it just happen to be the right call against the wrong defense.

I am beginning to think the Steelers window is closing quickly

and the Ravens with Flacco is a very tight window

what's our window?

do we have a window?

Its more of a peephole
what is that thing called on the Pirate Ships?
Periscope

or Crow’s Nest. Incidentally, the crow Tebow just fed me tastes like chicken.

I think it involves a dude in a Barrel

with a hole maybe

we have a window, in hell
cool, i'm dining there tonight anyway
We do need Tight End Depth

Did you miss last weeks game?

another tight end?

do you know how much stuffs we have to fix?!?

fine…tight end in the 6th

Tebows offense vs McDaniels offense

The storyline gets even better

FrankenDaniels :)
I wonder what he's thinking right now

The 2 guys he drafted to much criticism just won a playoff game.

Did obrien leave already? I thought he had to stay till the playoffs r done
nope gone to PSU
Wow def great storyline then..if tebow wins this then idk what to say...I do know he can't sustain this next year thought, I mean even we figured him out
He is still there and McDaniels is an assistant right now
Maybe O'Brien can show McDaniels his shower room move :)
Man this guy is unpossible to hate.
Watching his post-game right now

He’s even pretty stylish :-/

He needs to get Laid

and then like Samson he folds

tebow just praise god for the win

plenty of people will hate him about it

Faith is an amazing thing

Realized or not.

Yep

But then he goes on to talk about a girl that he gave an opportunity to to come to this game and how shes had 73 surgeries and the biggest victory of the day was meeting her and hanging out with her and the playoff win is just gravy.

Nice

through your teammates accomplishments somewhere

I said if Tebow was in and the Chiefs were out, I hope he wins the superbowl.

I have never in my life seen someone so ridiculed and hated for no reason. So many people bring up his faith and try to use it as a reason to hate him. I honestly can’t recall anyone in sports who has been hit with so much negativity. Scouts look for all types of intangibles, but the one most people seemed to miss is that the kid is a winner.

i don't know why it's a big thing

athletes, singers, celebs all praise god for their win. He’s just doing the same

btw I have a friend who works for St Judge ICU, apparently all the nurse/doctors see strange mist ball of light once people start dying

I don't get it either.

As far as the ICU, that’s something. I have seen seen/heard some strange things in my life.

I guess it's cause he's more open than most people

most people are like

I like to thank my team, coach, inaudiable, jesus, coach, DC, OC, etc

tebow is “I like to thank jesus, then everybody else.”

I think that's probably it.
I am a believer myself, but I don't condemn those who are not.

And the flip side is I don’t allow non believers to condemn me for believing. I like that he stands strong. I cant stand when someone is always on the fence.

I'm a Roman Catholic

who attends mass every Sunday.

I don’t like Tim Tebow. It’s not for “no reason”. It’s because he plays for the Broncos.

I have hated him since his college days

I don’t hate him as a person I hate the way he plays and the fact that he played at florida I hate Florida. Also he is a bronco and I hate the broncos so I hate him. Finally I hate that he is made ou to be the only player that believes in god in the nfl. And that’s how I really feel

I'll be honest.

For a while, the only reason I hated Tebow was because he played for the Broncos and got a stupid amount of hype. But really he can’t be blamed for the hype, since he’s not the one trying to get in the news.

However, after seeing his Sound Effects episode, I now say that I’d hate to be his teammate. I don’t hate religious people, two of my favorite players are Charles and Warner who are both very religious, but Tebow takes it way over the top. I think that SNL skit said it perfectly, that maybe he should concentrate more on football instead of talking about Jesus 24/7. I get it, religion is a big part of many people’s lives, but it shouldn’t be the only thing in your life.

He can obviously do whatever he wants, but if I were on the Broncos I might ask to be traded because of him. I wouldn’t be able to take the nonstop religious stuff. Pray before the game, after the game, and whenever else, but when we’re in the middle of a game can we please focus on the game instead of God for just a couple hours?

I understand where you are coming from,

but why would you want to be traded?

I obviously have never been in the locker room, so I don't know for sure.

But judging from that thing I saw, he goes beyond just being very religious. EVERYTHING has to be about God and Jesus. It’s not even the topic so much that he never shuts up about it. It wouldn’t matter if he were a 9/11 truther, a hard-core atheist, or whatever, I think I would just grow tired of being around somebody who always talks about the same thing no matter what.

Here‘s the thing I’m talking about, by the way. Again, this clip could be misleading, but if that’s an accurate representation, I wouldn’t be able to take it for too long.

how's that different from my workplace

During lunch

Me: hey guys do you know anything about SOPA or NDAA or the pat act?

them:FOOTBALL! FOOTBALL! FOOTBALL!

Me: uhhhh..

them: FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL

some people like to talk about sports 24/7 and some like to talk about religion

i just ignore it

Yeah, it's basically the same thing.

The difference is that, as the starting quarterback, and offensive player would have to be around him all the time. I would just lose it at some point. I guess asking to be traded would be extreme, but I might ask for him to calm it down a little or something.

as long as tebow continues winning, I don't think the players care
True.

I’m just saying, me personally, I wouldn’t want to hang out with Tebow. I’m sure he’s a good guy from what I’ve heard, I just don’t want to be around him.

This is where I was going.

There are tons of subjects that people talk about all of the time. Why is his subject any different?

For some reason QB's are religeous or not

maybe even Anti in that regard

Both can win football games

Patriots might want to take the Chiefs advice and not bite on the double moves next week

Apparently the Steelers weren’t paying attention to the film, the coach talking or the players talking after our defense manhandled them.

They were CLEARLY unprepared in all facets

And whatever shot Big Ben got in the 2nd half he should have gotten before the game also. He moved a bit more gingerly in the 1st.

Says the Chiefs are not though to be a serious defense in Pittsburgh

pride cometh before the Fail

I have a feeling it's going to be a little different out come in new england next week.....
WHY DID THEY HAVE TO PLAY ON SUNDAY????

That’s when Tebow is the strongest!

Whoa...

McDaniels will be coaching the Patriots O when his draft picks go to Foxborough? Woooow

"assisting"

Whatever that means

Tebow played good. But...

I would give the game ball to Demaryius Thomas. He flat out torched Ike Taylor the whole game, and made the game winning touch down. That O/T touchdown had little to do with Tebow.

Give Tebow credit...

Someone had to throw the ball there…

As i said...

He played good…. But that was a simple 5 yard slant. That was pretty much all Demaryius Thomas

And Cassel had 27 TD passes last year

Doesn’t mean the lion’s share of the workload didn’t come from Bowe with YAC.

Agreed..

They did not jam reicevers at the line, they gave him the middle running land and let Tebow roll to his left to much…….

After the game...

BFlowers24: DO NOT TWEET ANYTHING….. DO NOT TWEET ANYTHING…… DO NOT TWEET ANYTHING …..BRANDON PLEASE DO NOT TWEET ANTHING

Do you think it’s about how our D held up against Denver?

Most definitely. Probably about how piss poor the defense play calling was.

Plus pittsburg never really hit Tebow hard either........
How is overtime different?

Seems like sudden death to me?

Touchdown first wins the game
Basically, it doesnt end on a field goal anymore
It's a golden touchdown.

Field goals are no longer golden.

Flowers was probaly thinkin of those two blocked field goals..
This game made me appreciate our corners more than I already do.
You think Pioli does?
He appreciated one of em so far.

Time will tell if he appreciates the other.

Sign Carr PIOLI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nuts!

I think I feel more depressed when the Donks win than I do when the Chiefs lose

I pitty the female fight attendants on big Ben's fight home
Lmao!!!! Rec'ed
Okay, that's funny right there
Well we got another week of this shit

Before Tom puts an end to it all

This is weird, I'll be cheering for the pats
I was cheering for the Steelers
I'll cheer for tebow

just to troll the rest of AP

you won't be alone

I usually root for the AFC West team

raiders? No. Chargers? Hell no!

Broncos? Normally no

tebow? maybe

I rooted for Gannon

and Elway at times

Elway was a superb asshole Villian and HOF QB

Air Coryell was awesome

too

Much as I do like Tebow, I just can't bring myself to root for the Donkeys.

It’s like wanting the Yankees to win another World Series. Or China to take Gold in the Olympics. Or wanting Philadelphia teams to win anything.

Ehh so was I but I thought as bad as the donkeys are they had a shot since they're at home , if they win next week then i'll give them credit
I already got 100 with my Bronco buddy

Missin their S/LT/NT/LE QB on a bum ankle. Pats full systems go at home, it ain’t happening twice

Pats secondary is even more suspect than Pitt's was

and I had no doubt Pitt had a good secondary.

Bad Offense

Pats can protect the QB and drop 40 whenever

Broncos secondary ain’t much better

Tom put an end to it before

Now he will put an end to it on his turf. He does not want to be Tebowned.

[putting on best hulk hogan impression] tebowmania is rolling into town

you can’t stop it, I can’t stop it, nobody can stop it

Awesome

Never thought I’d be watching a game hoping the Broncos win, but for the first time in my 35 years I was. I’m not a Tebow supporter, but I highly doubt that he’s ever raped anyone so I had to go for the lesser of two evils on this one.

Also, I was having doubts (and still kinda am) on whether or not Elway and Fox will have to build their team around Tebow. Them winning a playoff game makes that more likely, and I’d love to see the Broncos build there team around a QB that can’t throw. Sure they won some games this year with despite that offense, but so did Miami with the wildcat a few years ago, and we all saw how that turned out. And if they decide to go another direction at QB, there will be chants for Tebow whenever that QB makes a mistake. The only QB that might not get that treatment would be Andrew Luck, and he’d probably cost he Broncos something crazy like 3 firsts and 2 seconds to obtain (plus the wasted first for having to dump/bench Tebow), and I can live with that.

And lets face it, they are gonna get murdered by New England next week. Not a Pats fan either, but at least I can hope for Brian Waters.

this is creepy, I just learned

that tebow threw for 316 yards
and the refs were "matthew, mark, luke, and john

jesus christ

that

Is def interesting

that

is def bullshit. Tebow did throw for 316 though.

damn you caught me lol
I really dislike the Steelers so I am happy that the Broncos won.
Me too.

3 appearances in the last 6 Super Bowls is enough for me. Plus I have a couple of friends who are HUGE Steelers fans and they can be douches about their team.

Same with my Steelers friends.

Fortunately it wasn’t too bad at the game when we played them with Plinko, but it was still grating on the nerves.

trying living 20 minutes from when Ben grew up...

Even when the rape stuff came out, it was like they supported him even more. Obnoxious.

steelers

chiefs almost beat the steelers starting tyler palko, who may have been the only qb this year worse than tim tebow.

did that steelers defense come in over-confident and unprepared? looked that way. that was an embarrassing performance.

give Tebow credit?

Tebow gets credit for the little he has to do for the team to get a victory. His defense never gets credit for keeping him alive. And let’s be honest about his 300+ yards…they came on Demaryius Thomas’ big play ability. Tebow didn’t have to throw a lot and padded his stats off of Thomas’ 200+ yards on 4 catches. Tebow is far from elite. Give the rest of the team credit that helped him get this far!

Give Steelers credit

Steelers defensive game plan was terrible. How to beat the Broncos: keep the ball in front of your safeties and don’t bite on the play action. Steelers were too depleted to run man coverage the way they did. If they had kept safety help over the top and let the Broncos pick up chunks of yardage on the ground instead of the air, they might have won.

Steelers don’t have Carr or Flowers, they have Ike Taylor who got his ass whooped today. And they never adjusted their scheme all day. Ridiculous.

AFC West representing!!!

No way we’re in the 2nd round of the playoffs LMeffingAO!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HHHHHHEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW is right

Pigeon Forge is very Pleased :(

Yuk it up Donkey.

You’re still not making it to the big dance. You’ll just be a bridesmaid like thirty other teams.

at least we're playing right?

Oh yeah Romeo for HC?

There go the first few years of your young talent…

If The Raiders didn't blow

you would be sitting here with us all day watching the Chiefs play the Steelers

well sorta, they won against the wrong team anyways

I like your style... if not your math.

If IF were a fifth…..

We were two blocked FG's from playing today

instead of Yall

one blocked FG

No, we were Todd Haley getting fired sooner from being in the playoffs

Denver lost 3 straight and backed in.

But yeah, they were pretty good at 8-8. This year’s Seahawks.

Definitely didn't see it coming, what with falling on your asses end-season as I did during the backwards skate at the roller rink yesterday

But also, as I did, you rolled out of that bitch like it was planned and made it look good. So kudos.. well deserved. Even though you didn’t play against the Steelers D today.. Nope.. You got their stunt doubles.

yeah, they were hurt for sure
I'm curious how bad Kiesel got dinged up in the game

Dude is tough as nails. For him to come out, it’s probably not good.

Yahoo Sports Schedule is trolling today...

Normally says: “Your ____ (team) is playing today.”

tebow time

That shit is hilarious!

is that a ref or mark cuban? lol

I've been cheering against Tebow

but this all has a silver lining. Let him cement himself as the starter in Denver. Let him become a legend as some idiots are saying. I would love nothing more than the Chiefs to have to face off against the Broncos twice a year with him as the quarterback.

what if he becomes the next elway?

Shit yeah!

This means they’re shackled to him for at least another 1-2 seasons!

He played pretty well today. He’s still a bit like Ricky Vaughn out there. He hits some strikes and then throws one to the backstop. Overall though it was light-years beyond what I was expecting.

The way Pitt played they didn’t deserve to go on. I wonder how bad losing Mendenhall and hobbling Ben really hurt them. Next week will be a kick in the teeth though.

Ben not being able to really step into the throw with his left foot caused at least 2 INT's today

And a couple more bad throws.

Team looked like crap anyway, and they deserved to lose. But that bum ankle certainly didn’t do the guy any favors.

That said, I still loathe Roethlisberger. So as much as I wanted the donkeys to lose because they’re pretty laughable – I’m also sick of seeing PIT late in the playoffs. So it was a lose-lose as well as win-win either way yesterday.

Right on the money

All they are doing is moving down in the draft and putting Elway in a horrible position. Rapidly aging stars (Bailey, Dawkins, McGahee) on team with suspect younger talent and a low draft pick…..not to mention a tougher schedule. Love the perception vs reality that will play out over the next couple of years.

they could hire this guy from duke

double true
I imagine that Denver has Cap Money to Burn with all the youth
Why didn't the Steelers rush?

Looked like alot of the teams in the early part of the Broncos win streak. Single coverage in the secondary but a total lack of effort to get to the quarterback. Chiefs disciplined rush was and is the right answer. Steelers deserved to lose today.

because of the throwing

They blitz at the beginning until tebow threw that 50 yard. Then they retreated to protect their secondary. But you can only keep WR in check for so long without a good rush

Cause they couldn't

they would of if they could of

We did it without Berry

Chiefs are an up and comer

not so the Steelers

basically, they need a carr and flowers
they could sign Carr

with Champs money

that would be a crazy defense

with von miller and the rest of the DL

broncos D would be solid

and the Chiefs not so much
The NFL has officially become a joke

NFL = WWE
Tim Tebow = Hulk Hogan-an absolutely no talent assclown that the NFL continues to let win simply cuz he draws ratings

calm down, you're worst than this woman

lol… wow.. what a terrible chick

I know, right?

Letting that woman take the ball from her like that. She should be ashamed.

Terrible lack of effort.

It's not the NFL's fault the Steelers couldn't stop Teebs.
yeah right

like the blown call on the lateral that would have iced the game for the broncos or all the headlocks the steelers O Line had on dumerville and miller with no holding calls?

The refs TRIED to give that game to Pitt and they still lost.

F the Steelers.

damn right!!
where the hell did you come from?
Lurking!!
Same with Hali all season
I'm hopping mad

How much cap do you all have next year?
LOTS... curious why we didn't spend it last year but trusting EFX for sure so far...
U guys have been setback for years with this win lol! Only worth it if u win the super bowl which u won't
good thing the chiefs been losing our playoff games
I hate tebow

But he just won a playoff game. All I want is to win a playoff game again. I don’t give a shit how terrible he is, I would love to have a qb than can win one goddamned playoff game.

get rg3

he’s as religious as tebow and has an awesome arm

Curtains to Steelers

Great to be able to rush and get to quarterback, regardless of how pious he is, without blitzing.

5 First Round Picks

Let’s see Moeaki, Berry and Charles back plus top 11 pick and 11th pick in 2nd round should allow us to catch up to Broncos……oh wait we just beat them!

that's assuming we draft the right people
i thought we split... and then won the division?
This is the best matchup the Broncos could have asked for.

A team based on defense that was suffering from a ton of injuries. The fact that the game was close should have surprised nobody. They have a much tougher matchup against the Patriots, who should be able to blow them out yet again.

Agreed

That was a bad facsimile of the Steelers most people are used to recently.

Vegas Should Be Ashamed

That line was ridiculous given Mendenhall and Rothlisberger injuries.

Definitely.

I would have put the line at around 3. I can’t believe the vast majority of people bet on the Steelers.

5 of 8 Would be a Great percentage for Tebow

5 of last 8 1st round picks have made it to Pro Bowl. Others have become reasonable starters.

ok guys I'm off. Before I go, remember this great quote from a wise man

“I’m too drunk to taste this chicken”

—the late great colonel Sanders

How I always hated the Denver Broncos more than another team

You know for the past 40 years the Chiefs have been my team. Through all the bad times and the few years of good. I always despised the Broncos more than any other team. I could stomach the Raiders, Seattle when they were in our division, San Diego but I despised Denver. My favorite game of all time was Montana and Elway at Mile High. I was so hoarse after that game and was on cloud nine for weeks, we had finally won at Mile High. But you know what I find myself in a quandary. You see I no longer hate Denver for that matter I root for them unless they play us. I see all the people talking about how they hate Tebow mostly because he stands up for his beliefs! It is a shame to see the attitudes now a days about GOD. Forty years ago Tebow would have been admired for his stand even twenty years ago. I wonder what happened? Have we turned so far away from GOD in this country that we hate on a player because he is a Christian? Listening to many on this site and others I get disgusted. Ill bet there are even a couple people on here that say they are Christians but are to ashamed to admit it. I’ll tell you what I have lived Chiefs for forty years and yes I hooped and hollered when they beat Denver but I also pulled for the raiders to loose because I believe; not in Tebow but in the God he serves. Many here will deride this comment but like Tebow I do not care. You know what; many of his teammates pray with him on the field, on the sidelines etc. My final words here will be Go Denver and to GOD be the glory!

Is this what sports is about?

What if Rodgers comes out and says he is a Devout Democrat and that half the country is wrong?

What if I am an Islamist or Jewish? I have to listen to this why?

Last I heard America was welcoming to all Religeons and of course Races

Political persuasions and Sexual persuasions so I could care less about Timmy’s beliefs

Though I am Christian I have learned there are others that fel just as strongly about their thoughts.

You have stepped on my toes D

I don't think anyone cares about him being a Christian or not

there are many that, like you, are very glad to have him around. I don’t even think its his fault that he is such a big story. I think most people are sick of hearing about a talented athlete but not really talented QB who hasn’t done anything and who people act like he is the second coming. He doesn’t act that way, in fact he seems like a pretty good man, but you have media non-stop on this guy. You have fans who won’t shut up about him and buy his jersey and put the name Jesus on the back. You have a player who has serious flaws in his game and is still probably never going to be a legitimate NFL QB. Yet, we can’t get away from him. He is always on ESPN. Analysts in game talk about him non-stop. He is on magazine covers. The media and fans have made this guy into something more than he is, a great college QB but not a good NFL QB. For most it has nothing to do with his religion. I am just sick of hearing about the guy. Sick of the jokes. Sick of him being on TV. Sick of ESPN doing 20 different stories on him every week. Sick of his crazy fans who think he can do no wrong.

The only people I really hear, other than the occasional loud mouth NFL idiot, say anything about his religion, are Christians who applaud it or claim he, and Christianity by association, are being persecuted. Who in this country would denounce him for his religion or being religious? Very few. Last I checked it had been a long time since Christians were persecuted and Tebow hasn’t been either. This guy has had more press in the last two weeks nationally than my Chiefs have had the last year. He has had more reports on ESPN in the last 3 months than my Chiefs have had in 2 years. I’m as sick of hearing about Tebow as I am about Kim Kardashian, the Jersey Shore, and Lady Gaga and for the same reasons.

Actually Tebow did throw himself in the "look at me" arena when he was part of that anti abortion super bowl ad

Or did we all forget so quickly?

Pro abortion or anti abortion, either way, that kind of political shit-stirring has zero place in sports. The NFL is not the arena for that.

Jesus will hear you when you pray alone in a quiet room just as well as he will with you in front of cameras and millions of people.

One has to wonder if it’s really about faith at all, or just the public spectacle.

True, he did do that

but for the most part he doesn’t throw God around in every interview unless asked. He doesn’t chastize others or act holier than thou, at least in public. For the most part he has been pretty normal, to the point of nearly being Opie Taylor in press conferences. If the guy said “Aw, schucks!” or “Golly gee!” in a press conference it wouldn’t surprise me.

He does it more than someone like Polumalu but i don’t know how much of that is because he brings it up or because he is asked about it all the time.

I definitely agree with your post below, very well said.

It's the over the top evangelical beat-you-in-the-face-with-my-beliefs part that people are tired of.

I get tired of it from evangelical Christians, as much as I get tired of it from evangelical atheists. (Yes, the people that beat you over the head with their lack of belief, and try nonstop to convince you to think what they think.)

It’s obnoxious from any angle.

Not to mention the religiously fueled political TV ad he was part of during the bowl season.

That stuff has no place in football.

I’m sick of Tebow for all that crap. I don’t care that he’s Christian. Most of my favorite players are. You’re just plain wrong saying people don’t like him because of his faith. It’s his (and his legion of followers’) making it a big deal that makes it unbearable. I don’t care if he worships Christ, the Prophet Mohammad, his own ancestors via Shinto or nobody at all. It doesn’t matter. It’s a personal choice and I fully support his right to believe whatever he wants.

I just don’t want to hear about it. And I don’t want him to abuse it to make political statements. It has zero to do with football – which is the only thing that makes him relevant. His career as a football player.

People Don't like Undo Credit

The religious folks think Tebow gets grief because he’s religious. Much of it is because he has gotten an undue amount of credit for the team’s performance. While this is typical of the position, in his case it is even more pointed due to his most obvious ineptness.

If he would just stop and give credit to his defense and some timely turnovers before giving credit to his religion he would get more respect. He is not the only player with religious beliefs.

I can't stand the hype

but I think you’re pointing the finger at the wrong person. Tim was very complimentary of his teammates this evening. The problem is networks like ESPN shoving him down our throat constantly. The week of the Bills game, ESPN didn’t have any decent Tebow footage because he had been pummeled by the Patriots the previous week. So, they go back 2 weeks to the mic’d up from the Bears game.
It’s a joke. but it isn’t really Tim’s fault, it’s the damn media.

Best Selling Book

Yeah it is the media’s fault!

Yes, it is.

It’s all hype. It has been since before he left college. Just because he’s outspoken about his religion… doesn’t mean he’s the Ultimate Christian.

I'll agree with that

It’s mostly hype. Tebow seems like a good guy. In all his interviews he comes off as a good guy. The hype of him in college, coming out of college, with the media (ESPN especially), and the fans is just insanely overdone.

Religious Patriots Rejoicing in Broncos Win

Message would be redundant.

Holy Shit! You mean to tell me that

if you draft a qb in the first round who was successful in college, you can win a playoff game? What a fucking concept. Pioli your fifth round “gem” technique, has not produced shit since brady. Maybe you should look into this crazy idea of drafting a qb in the first round.

Even John Elway

doesn’t think Tim is the Broncos answer at QB, so calm down.

John Elways opinion means nothing.

He was a great qb, but t he hasn’t done shit as op manager for the donks, besides hate on tebow and begrudgingly ride tebow’s coattails further into the playoffs.

Given that the Patriots have feasted on poor teams all year

one would think next week would be a walk.

But why? New England cannot stop anyone. I see a lot of “well at least next week it will be over”. I don’t think it will go as easy for New England as it appears. Has nothing to do with Tebow or faith. If one thinks we would have beat Pitt today and could hang in next week, then Denver also must be capable, no?

Yep

even with Cassel

we had em on the ropes until we turned the ball over three straight times....

NE is my pick to win the AFC but it’s possible we win there. ….

It's definitely possible, if you play like you did tonight,
If the Donkeys

put up 40 points they might win, but I just don’t see it.

Tebow has done one possibly good thing this week...

Hopefully he got Carr a new contract with the Chiefs. We need 2 good CBs to defend the stupid Hail Mary’s.

30 yards is considered a hail mary?
It is if it is a palko throw
wtf

the only reason broncos won today is because steelers only brought four guys on the rush 95% of the time, and their corners cant cover.

On the other hand, we bring alot of pressure with our LBs, and our corners can stay with recievers. Trust me broncos suddenly did not become another team, steelers just sucked.

Pittsburgh was the worst team in the playoffs this year...

Mostly because of the injuries. Any other team that made it in would have beat them. Chiefs, Raiders, or Chargers all would have won as well. This was just the year to win the AFC West, that is all… Sucks that we drew a healthy Ravens team last year. Totally differenent scenario this year…

It's all over the news about "Tebow's miricle pass"

But nothing about the recivers “Miricle run on a 15 yard pass play”……

Yeah credit where it's due

Thomas’ stiff-arm and subsequent after-burners were pretty awesome to watch. I hated it, but that was a great play.

The donks won the game

and deserve credit for that, but the fact is that Ike Taylor sucks outloud. Their smoke and mirrors defense was much like San Diegos last year. #1 statistically, but very flawed. It’s time for Dick Lebeau to retire, because he just got schooled by the worst QB to start a playoff game in my lifetime.

The fact is, Pittsburg was overrated. Hell we should have beat them with basically a retard at QB. The best part of this win is that it solidifies Tebow as the starter for another year. The Pats just got another bye.

I still can't buy into Tebow

I think he’s a nice guy and all and I have nothing against him personally but I wouldn’t want a QBs who think passing is the last option.

I think Bellichick will have a defensive scheme that will shut slow him down enough. I wanted to say the Patriots would shut him out but then I remembered how awful their pass dfense has been this year – not happening. But the thing is that you know Brady and the Patriots offense is going to put at least 30 if not 40 points on the board. I’m not taking anything away from the Broncos win but the Steelers had massive injuries (on both sides of the ball) and their a team with problems anyway (OL issues, running game issues, etc).
