Romeo Crennel: 'It's More About Brian Daboll Than Matt Cassel'

One of the reasons I thought the Kansas City Chiefs hired Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator was because he ran an offense similar to the one in which Matt Cassel has had his most success. Maybe that played a role in the hire but it wasn't the overwhelming reason why Daboll was hired, Romeo Crennel said on Tuesday.

"It's more about Brian than it is Matt Cassel," Crennel said on a conference call with KC reporters this morning.

Crennel said Daboll was the first person he offered the coordinator job to and that the search took so long because Daboll was under contract with the Miami Dolphins. He also indicated that the Dolphins wanted to keep him and other teams were interested in him as well.

As for the the offense he'll run, Crennel said when you compare it to KC's offense last year or New England or Miami, it's more like the Dolphins. "You can see some no huddle, you can see some multiple tight ends, you can see some two back, some one back, so we can see it all," Crennel said. He also mentioned having balance in the offense as far as the running and passing game is concerned.

We'll have some more details on what he said about the staff (right after I eat at this Chinese buffet for lunch...yeah, we're a real professional operation around here). Check our Twitter feed -- @ArrowheadPride -- for a few more details, including Crennel's expectation that Jim Zorn will remain with the staff.

nice

A balanced attack that includes Pay Pay??
Pay Pey
as long as it's not Pee Pee
as long as it's not Che Che
If the Dolphins wanted him then how did he get here?
Coach change.

West coast HC wanted a west coast OC.

Is it out of the norm for teams to have 2 offensive coordinators?
I defer to Oscar from "The Office" on this one
Look it doesn’t take a genius to know that every organization thrives when it has two leaders. [shakes head] Go ahead, name a country that doesn’t have two presidents. A boat that sets sail without two captains. Where would Catholicism be, without the popes.
Liked the organization more?

Liked the coach more?
Getting paid more?
Potential HC after Crennel retires?

Could probably think of more. Not saying any of the above happened, but they’re possibilities.

The same way Gailey ended up unemployed for a year after Haley got here
Pioli, Crennell and Daboll have a history together going back to the Pats
yepper

Dabolls record as OC? In three years he went 13-32 for a .333 win percentage. If ya’ll thought Haley’s .427 was bad, what’re ya gonna do with daboll?

**should be 16-32**
He's the oc

Not the HC. Why wool I look at the records of his teams. Look at Al Saunders “record” since he left kc. The rams, skins, and raiders didn’t win a lot with al coaching.

I guess that's why you wanted him back so badly???
Not the fans...the article said the management wanted him.
Obviously, they didn't want him.
He also indicated that the Dolphins wanted to keep him and other teams were interested in him as well.
Why is that obvious?
because he's not there anymore
Didn't he get let go with the HC and the whole staff?
Ummm, kinda my point.

The article says the Dolphins wanted him but he isn’t there. Something is incongruous.

When a HC is released, the staff generally goes with

Doesn’t seem to be a stretch that they reached out to him afterward, once they got their new HC in place.

But I guess we can always assume everyone is lying, unless they’re saying something bad about Pioli… right?

Is it just me...

Or other then his initial press conference has Romeo trying to detract from Cassel at every opportunity?

Oh no.

Pioli is married to Cassel, and Romeo is just his puppet.

Aha! Hand up the ass!

Thats why Romeo always has that goofy grin on his face.

Wouldn't you?
I have a goofy grin just thinking about it.
I still have ten years before I hit 40 and the prostate exam becomes a part of life

I’d rather not think about it until then (or even after then)

Ugh

I have a mere 4 years until I need to fill out that “Change of sexual orientation card” which accompanies said procedure…shit.

Wait...

you’re supposed to get one at 40? I thought it was 50…I’m 42…ug….

Have fun with that :)
And we saw what happens when you go against Cassel/Egoili...You get your ass fired and made to look like a lunatic AKA Haley
If you are going to use weak, immature nicknames, we prefer Casshole
REALLY?? cause i think that nicknames makes more sense than Casshole... ASS!
Hopefully we won't ever need to use Dabhole.
Dabollshit
Now that is just "petulant"
Oh I like that one.
You are the ones who are Daboll lickers!
LOL!

and rec’d

You mess with Daboll, you get da horns?
And where exactly do you get da horns?

Right in dabolls?

Well, to be fair

Haley made himself look like a lunatic…

really?? cause the way i see it he sitting pretty nice in Pittsburgh and im pretty sure they dont hire lunatics..

Mark my words KC will regret firing Haley!!!

They just fired their last OC.

That’s why the position was available.

Its the Steelers!! One of the best organizations in the NFL. if KC could half of what Pitts is we wouldnt be sitting her bitching about a pathetic QB situation..
I hear there is room on the Pittsburgh Haleys bandwagon still
The guy who was supposed to get the job literally caught on fire.

That’s what it took to get Haley a job. Someone nearly had to die.

And now I'm going to hell for laughing at that.
Also, the whole lawyer thing.
Consider them marked. We ready to move on to things that matter for this team yet?
Yep im ready to move on, I just personally think Haley has what it takes and was put in a shitty situation in KC.

Im ready for RAC now and pray we address the QB

In this day, most head coaches are put in "shitty situations" if the team can't find an elite QB

Unless your last name is Harbaugh

That dude is magic
Nah, this dude is magic

Pittsburgh doesn' thire lunatics?

I offer up James Harrison as evidence contrary to that.

So Haley will get credit

For the steelers offense doing well next year, though they’ve been pretty good for years. That’ll prove the chiefs wrong, how?

That whole hobo-chic thing he had going on didn't do him any favors.

It reminded me of the “Derelict” collection in Zoolander.

no one made haley look like a lunatic more than himself
exactly

I don’t see how Jeremy thinks Pioli made Haley look like a lunatic…unless he really thinks the phones were bugged.

I dont think Pioli made Haley a lunatic, i think that the hatred between them made haley to look like a lunatic.

Haley and Pioli were at each others throats day one when Haley realized he couldn’t win with Cassel. The easy schedule made them tolerate each other and then when our top players went down and Pioli did nothing to help. Thats when Haley did what he thought he had to " hit them where it hurts" at started Palko damn well knowing this was the end. I give him credit for standing up for himself.

So you think Haley stuck with Palko

to stick it to Pioli?

Yes that is exactly what i think
dont get me wrong, i dont agree bc i consider that incredibly selfish, but i he stood up to "big brother" haha
By screwing over the other coaches, players and fans?

That’s standing up to the man?

It was all worked out with Mike Tomlin in advance

ensuring that Tomlin would face Tim Tebow in playoff round one.

Which didn’t turn out so hot for the Steelers

True, but nevertheless improbable.

And Omar Epps Mike Tomlin being a man of his word still consented to his end of the bargain.

If so

then Haley is a complete asshole. Because that would mean he was also sticking it to the entire organization, including the coaching staff, all the players and the fan base. I would hope that he’s more of a professional than that.

If that was the case

Haley would have obviously lost his team completely. Do you really think the players are going to let that slide and not say anything about it? Do you really think Bowe and others are still going to have that much respect for him?

I agree but i think Haley looked at it as egtting back at Pioli/hunt.. but in reality it just hurt the season ticket holders and fans
How do you agree and then try and make a similar point disagreeing?
I agreed that it was a dick move, but i try and look at it from Haley point of view
It was about securing his employment in PITT

See my boxed comment below.

Which team benefitted the most from Haley's playing Palko?

Denver, by winning the division. Which team benefited most from Denver winning the division? PITT, the #5 seed. Where did Haley end up getting hired immediately after being released from KC? PITT.

Where there’s smoke, there’s usually a crazy man with a beard and crack rocks and makeshift freebasing devices around him.

This means absolutely nothing to me. Zero, zilch.
Which team benefitted the most from Haley’s playing Palko?

Where are you trying to go with this?

I am going

down (as in see the comment immediately below this until the threading replaces it with another response)

I already read it.

And it still sounds like crazy talk.

Lol

well, it is a feeble attempt at some snarky humor. And no, I don’t seriously think that. Although the way things align, it at the very least makes for a premise worth examining.

ok got ya :)

But here at AP it’s hard for me to tell who joking around sometimes…

Heh, I chuckled.
As do I

My recent comment from the Stanzi thread in the fanposts:

Actually, the conspiracy theory makes sense in light of Haley’s hiring in PITT
Think about it, PITT knew BALT was going to win the division. They knew they’d finish with the #5 seed, making them forced to play against the #4 seed, namely the AFC West Champion. They feared KC with Stanzi/Orton. Haley went to Omar Epps Mike Tomlin and told him that he would gladly throw the division to the Broncos in exchange for Bruce Arians job the following season. Tomlin, thinking that Tim Tebow would be ideal matchup in the playoffs round one, consented. But the Almighty, himself a Chiefs fan, granted Tim Tebow with the miracle of not overthrowing wide open receivers who got behind poorly designed coverage on the first play of overtime in order to punish Tomlin for his Faustian bargain.
Classic conspiricy theory!

I love it! My thoughts exactlyt. I also thought there was something wierd about Haley when…………ummm…..I think Giorgio Tsoukalos is knocking on my window……..he’s yelling something about the Anunaki and Fibonacci……I gotta go…….

Is that when the rift started

Or after Weis left? It’s tough to tell

Yep...Cept maybe mchoodie
Damn...

How the heck

do you post images here?

I feel like the guy on the 4G commercial saying “You know how to post videos to facebook?”

I've noticed that too.

And it is good.

Overall i dont mind the hire, he made a beast out of Hillis, turned Reggie Bush's into a 1,000 yard rtusher and not to mention Matt Moore posted many 300 + yrd games
and ruined McCoy's eardrum?
Colt McCoy is widely known

As an unbelievable crybaby

That's okay. You should see what Shaun Smith's ruined.
What if he brings Moore for the "Competition for cassel"
Or Orton

Who Daboll wanted before last season started?

yeah

I wouldn’t hate it

I would prefer it be Orton
I would much rather have Orton than Cassel anyday..
Oh yeah.

I forgot about that little twist to the plot!

Do we know it was Daboll who wanted Orton, or was it Sporano?

I don’t think OC’s have that kind of pull

please don't :(
I know i like Matt Moore, but not the QB we need. We need to make a statement and get Payton or RG3 not excuses!!
I don't think the Saints plan on letting Sean Payton go....

oh, you mean Peyton Manning.

THANK YOU FOR CLEARING THAT UP!!!!
Sorry

Didn’t mean to be a dick about it, but for some reason that’s one of my odd pet peeves.

Spotted dick?
They make a salve for that?
I believe the only prescription is more cowbell?
In that case

I got a fever!

what a typo?? thats a lame pet peeve bro
LMAO

It wasn’t a typo, you’ve been screaming for “Pay Pay” [sic] throughout every thread this morning. A typo is a one-off error, yours was a blatant and redundant mistake repeated with the same nauseating frequency as your Peyton Mancrushing.

If you’re going to trumpet the merits of signing a 36 year old QB fresh off his third neck surgery, at least get the dude’s name correct.

Agreed.

If only we’d have gotten Jeff Fischer, we wouldn’t be worrying about the QB.

Yeah, bro. That's almost as lame as using the words "lame" and "bro"
Ok my bad.. Ill make sure to spell his name correctly and watch my lingo anything else ladies??
That will be all. Just don't be lame, bro
Sure

You don’t need to put an exclamation point or multiple question marks after every single thing you say.

Makes it look like you’re yelling.

And also, I SWEAR we’ve met…

It's growing on me

But still very much in a “wait and see” mode. I have to admit that he has the look, for what that’s worth.

Daboll

quoted as saying he has a lot of confidence in Matt Cassel. I hope there is true competition this year.

I have alot of confidence in my car to get me to work.

But I would have much more confidence in a newer, better car that makes me go faster.

You need a Camaro ZL1.
Pffft Chevrolet
+580
I'm starting to wonder if I even know you at all....

If this was a poll I’d be voting “not sure”.

Agreed, go ahead and pick yourself up a 2012 Acura NSX

I was on the fence, but that Super Bowl commercial sold me.

Yea I'm all for this.

And I’m pretty sure I can take on Seinfeld to move up the list.

+$24,600,000,000

still owed….

Exactly

I have confidence that I can choke down a Big Mac for lunch.

But, I’d rather have a steak.

Hopefully a lot of confidence in holding the clip board and getting water for Payton/ RG3
This proves he's a terrible coach.

How can you have confidence in a QB that can’t freaking throw?

Cuz any new coach is going to come out and say

I have no confidence in this or that player.

Give it a break. NOTHING will be proven until we see our offense this year.

many many sub 200 yard passing games ahead.

Book it.

He said that?

My opinion just took a180, send him packing after that statement. Maybe Pioli was in the room, or had “ears” in the room.

Coming from coaching

Brady Quinn, Derek Anderson, Jake Delhomme, SENECA WALLACE, & Colt McCoy… Cassel probably looks like delicious spotted dick

Could it be that we finally will have one coach that has most of the say on offense?

I could be wrong, but I’m sure Haley had a strong voice in running the offense over the last three seasons.

I’m not blaming Todd Haley, but when your OC and HC see things differently on offense, it will probably show.

RAC has said he'll pretty much leave his OC alone.
that's a good change of pace

…. unlike Muir’s PACE maker!!!

You mean that Zorn/Muir/Haley triumvirate wasn't effective?
Hard to mess with someone

when you don’t really know what they do.

Just saw Arrowhead Pride's twitter referencing their poll that only 19% of the fans approve the Daboll hire....

I think they need to stop using that as a stat. The poll just isn’t properly put together.

If I were to put a poll up that asked if people think spotted dick tastes good or not… the vast majority would vote no without any further knowledge of the food. In reality, it’s a tasty British steamed suet pudding containing dried fruit (usually currants) commonly served with custard.

So… with the lack of knowledge people just make snap decisions. I have no way of knowing if if someone educated on the Daboll hire would change their opinion, but I find it hard to believe it’d be so lopsided.

"it’s a tasty British steamed suet pudding containing dried fruit (usually currants) commonly served with custard."

In all fairness this isn’t making me want to vote approve. It still sounds like it tastes like dick.

british cuisine is not exactly high end stuff

that’s why they conquered the world you know…they were looking for better take out

Either that or to force their spotted dicks on us?
I vote No

on the spotted dick, striped dick or any dick.

Note to self...

“Next fan post, leave out any and all dicks”. Check.

Yes, enough about the Vermeil era.
Abstain from Vitale while we're at it.
How about Butkus?

Does he have to be left out, too?

If this is to be a Dick-free zone, I'm afraid so. =/
True statement
the vast majority would vote no without any further knowledge of the food.

I hear ya Brad, but none of those polls really mean anything at all until game day comes.

I think he is calling Chiefs fans ignorant
I KNOW i'm calling YOU ignorant.
I don't have a problem with you calling me ignorant

I do have a problem with you calling everyone here who disagrees with your opinion ignorant or “unintelligent.”

You're just upset I you couldn't debate with me yesterday :(

I’m sorry, I’ll go easy on you from now on.

Following your Spotted Dick poll - I'd like one asking if they'd like to see an Elegant Tit...

Assuming most would say “yes” – they can collectively be disappointed by the resulting image.

source

What about long-tailed titties?

I prefer my tits to be elegant

a “long tail” could be scary.

Scary?

Touche - not the "tail(s)" I had in mind

We’ll expand the poll to include both Elegant and Long-Tailed.

However we must continue to disappoint with zoologically accurate follow-up photographs. Keep this beaut bookmarked for another time.

ok

The Shoebill, Balaeniceps rex also known as Whalehead is a very large bird related to the storks. It derives its name from its massive shoe-shaped bill.

The Shoebill is a very large bird, averaging 1.2 m (4 ft) tall, 5.6 kg (12.3 lbs) and 2.33 m (7.7 ft) across the wings. The adult is mainly grey, the juveniles are browner. It lives in tropical east Africa, in large swamps from Sudan to Zambia.

Ha! Who is this odd bird?

I meant that we should tease with “Tit” polls and then show pictures of birds.

Regardless – 4ft tall and 7ft wide – crikey! I don’t want a run-in with any bird that I can punch in the face without squatting.

It was a tease. Didn't you expect more?

=P

And I wouldn't be punchin' that bill.

I’d go low. It looks weak at the legs.

Stevie is that you?
Well that's just not Berry nice.
... you know what to do

I love titties...big juggs...Got milk? I digress...
The poll is really about the fan's reaction to the hire

I think that’s interesting, thus the poll. I think it goes without saying that no one can predict how this will go. Even the head coaches with the most information make bad hires. Nobody knows how good or bad someone will be but we all have opinions (which is what the poll was about).

Still.

It would be nice to see an updated poll. A lot of people have warmed up to Daboll after learning more about him.

Gonna take much more than that

to convince me that this is a good hire

It's like trying to convince someone to be a mormon before they get their own planet.

Watch here.

If there is one thing in the world that Mizzou and Jayhawk fans can agree on,

It’s that Daboll is a completely uninspiring hire.

This just shows the inteligence of Mizzou and Jayhawk fans then...
So anyone who isn't ecstatic about the Daybull hire is no unintelligent?
of course not,

but he’s implying the entirety of both fan bases can agree it was an uninspiring hire…which yes, would be unintelligent.

I think there are legitimate concerns with Daboll

The fact that all of his offenses (minus about 6 games) have been among the worst in the league is very concerning.

You could make a strong argument that even despite injuries we were working with more talent then Daboll ever had in Cleveland

And look where we stood last year?

That's a good post. +1

I disagree because of player personnel on the offensive side of the ball in Cleveland and the fact that it was his first few years as a 34/35 year old OC. But this is at least a good argument.

Wrong!

Daboll is a great hire, and go MIZZOU!

Cassel can make the best OCs look like Bill Muir
@SI_JimTrotter

I also think Romeo Crennel’s hiring of Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator was smart and solid. Now find a QB. #chiefs

Trotter speaks the truth.
Sign Peyton Manning and the OC won't matter
Also from @SI_JimTrotter

“Had a good talk w/ Dwayne Bowe other night. Said he likes Haley and spoke to him recently. Said they had issues his 1st year, but not since.”
So let the Bowe to Steelers banter begin.

yea , that would suck on SO many levels..
Man I'd drink myself into (more of) a stupor (than usual).
Wallace on one side and Bowe on the other?

With Rapingbugers throwing the ball? That would be pretty potent.

Don't forget

Antonio Brown

Do we get

Antonio Brown in consolation?

@SI_JimTrotter again...

“Last thought on KC: I believe Bowe wants to stay with the Chiefs longterm, but the contract has to be right.”

They've got way too many holes

To drop big money on a WR. But who knows?

I don't see it.
Funny quote from Rotoworld
GM Scott Pioli and his army of Patriots’ retreads are setting the bar low in Kansas City.
More crap from people looking for big names

We don’t need a big name made from riding the coattails of a superstar player. We need someone making their name from making chicken salad from chicken shit

For some reason, the Pats are still the Evil Empire in the minds of many
I agree...

but, adding the big name players couldn’t hurt either.

What exactly is funny about that quote?
i think it is a bit more sense if you add what they said before that

Talking about how crennel wants the type of offense ran in miami in 2011 , which sets the bar low because they were 22nd in the league and only averaged like 318 yards a game or so .

matt cassel is OK

but no OK QB went to the super bowl this year…

Do you have a link?!
lol

just lost it ….

ah found it

http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2012/01/22/patriots-last-stop-on-ravens-super-bowl-bid/

That OK QB

would have been in the super bowl if evans didn’t blatantly drop a touchdown pass inside a minute.

Alex Smith and Joe Flacco came very close.
yes

but i want to go to super bowl , not just be close. Even though i would love to be close also ! And i would probably put flacco ahead of cassel ..

Probably???????
Like him or not

Approve of the hire or not

Daboll is our OC…so get used to it.

I don’t wanna hear your Daboll crap!

Put a title on the comment please.

I want to remove pictures I don’t want to look at. Thank you.

Not sure why people think

a 36 year old with 3 years of OC experience can be a retread of anything.

But the 65 year old guy they wanted is not.
agreed.

Crennel should be considered one

But he's ours now.
agreed again

So we have 1 retread…which isn’t something people should freak out about

Hmm....
Not sure why people think
a 36 year old with 3 years of OC experience can be a retread of anything.

Considering this phrase could almost be exactly applied to Peyton Manning, I find this highly ironic.

I guess I don't follow = /
Peyton is 36 years old

and considering Jim Caldwell coached that team for the last three years, you could argue that Peyton was the de facto coach.

Better than Bill Muir

That’s all I can say….MUCH better than Bill Muir.

at least he'll stay awake
That's because he's da Red Bull.
Yep

And from what I understand he is very excitable and energetic.

When is the last time our OC wasn’t either falling alseep or driving a scooter around the complex.

Technically, our OC from 2009 was

excitable vulgar and energeticunhinged.

More like...

more like this

Should have got the big one....
Where did you get that picture of Muir?
This is where the rubber meets the assembly line?
I'm willing to bet Daboll thinks he can fix Cassel

Just like Weis “did”. Please, please prove me wrong. I’m begging this organization to convince me that Cassel won’t be the quarterback until Pioli gets fired.

He's got you right where he wants you
I'm not sure there's going to be enough crow to go around if Cassel goes out and throws for 4000+ yards and 30+ TDs this year

The whole species might actually go extinct.

I actually expect it

Cassel looks like one QB in even years and a completely different QB in odd years. It’s an even year, but the playoffs will occur in an odd year (woe be upon us). What we need is for the team to carry a horrible QB to the playoffs in the 2013 season, and then Cassel will magically transform into the ghost of Johnny U and put up the greatest postseason in the annuls of NFL lore.

This is hilarious, and true

I love it

As the world ends in December 2012

No worries about poor play on 2013.

I wish he would, seriously

but he won’t. That’s the problem here. Too much hope when we’ve been proven wrong long enough.

Good Cassel years: 2008, 2010
Bad Cassel years: 2007, 2009

He had a statistically solid year in 2010, but once January 2011 rolled around, he shat the bed against Oakland and Baltimore.

Correction

bad years are 2009 and 2011…. although 2007 might be bad since he never saw the field. (I’ll give him a pass for not beating out a QB who threw for 50 TDs and won 18 games though)

Hmm... the good Cassel years in 2008 and 2010 coincide with facing two of the weakest opponent schedules of the past 20 years

No surprise there Cassel looks like an NFL QB against weak opponents. It’s the average and better opponents where he looks like he never played QB in college…. wait a minute

If Cassel read the posts on AP of what most of us think about him....
Good thing

It’ll never happen

If that happens

I will write MULTIPLE 2000 word posts apologizing to Matt Cassel, Aiken, and anyone else who still thinks Cassel’s got what it taks.

Not to mention

Lucifer looking for some new digs thanks to the frostbite….

Why can't we just agree that there probably wasn't any candidate

that wouldn’t spark this type of AP reaction. If it was Saunders, many would have loved it while people like me would have been bemoaning the double-dip on Senior Citizens.

Short of Don Coryell or someone of that nature, we will never agree.. Let’s just enjoy the hire and starting firing the missiles at each other if it doesn’t work out.

Now that I think of it though, Coryell would require passing and everyone would get mad cause we have Matt Cassell. Scatch him.

Carry on, don’t mind me, just no new RG III scenario today and I’ll be set.

Trade Bowe and This/Next years 1st round draft picks

Boom: RG3

That was very rude.
Well played

Since that has been said before, I will not count that as a new one.

How about

Our 1st and 3rd for 2012, 2013, and 2014 drafts

How about

We see what Daboll can do for out offense….THEN start throwing stones. Now hear me out, I know this is a new and scary idea.
If we let Daboll either hang himself or rise from the ashes like super hero then we can form opinions and criticisms.

I know this may be an idea that will get me banned from AP or the internets all together….but it has legs and it could work.

I love it!

Funny how that hasn’t occurred to the pitchfork and torch crowd.

Isn't that what I was just saying?
yeah, so rec'd

above

That's not the modus operandi of AP these days

Anymore, it’s about which clique you belong to and how many insults you can hurl at anonymous posters you will never actually get to know in person.

I will say that Daboll’s track record is far less impressive than when we hired Weis as OC. I’m looking forward to ANY change in offense compared to what we saw this year, but I’m not holding my breath that we’ll see as much efficiency as we did under Weis.

should be a huge difference with Jamaal and T moe back...

like apples to oranges…

Well that's no fun

I have all these stones and can’t throw them?

I'm really interested in learning more about the Chinese buffet.
Yeah.

All this talk of noodle-armed Cassel has me hungry for some chow mein.

hahah

this came up under google images for ‘noodle arm’

I hope
  1. 7 is Elway’s kid and not Cassel’s!!
Agreed, this chatter about shitty Cassel has me starved for a pu pu platter

/sorry

That reminds me of a scene from the movie...................

A Bug’s Life

So this will be

Cassel’s…well, the Chiefs 4th year in a row with a different OC. I just hope this guy works out and we can have some consistency.

As said above, someone liked Weis’ credentials more than Dabolls… but what does it matter if the guy leaves after 1 year. YA know?

I think that's ovverrated. Look at what Cam Newton and Andy Dalton did without meeting the OC until September

Good QBs don’t make and don’t need excuses

well we don't have a good QB

So a new scheme every year is more difficult for a guy without the skills to just go out and play.

Good God...

Can’t wait for the Chiefs to annihilate teams this year so people will STFU about the Haley/Pioli/Daboll/RAC nonsense. This is going to be an incredibly long offseason.

So when Daboll and RAC disagree, will it be

“Daboll Trouble”??

I will not renew my tickets for the season if cassell is the QB its that simple im not gonna watch a noodle arm try to get us to the promise land

I DONT WANT TRENT DILFER I WANT A FUCKING QB PIOLI< LAST CHANCE TO SAVE THIS FAN.. 1 MORE OFFSEASON ILL GIV YOU

That oughtta do the trick.
